  1. There's some in the Canberra spotted thread of some black n silver fair lady's, looks the goods!
  2. Watch out fluff, got some competition lol
  3. Your trying to get bilsteins from warranty?
  4. Why not just run a capacitor in the boot instead? Would have to be a killer stereo to need a new alternator
  5. Get one! I think they'll be worth something in 20-30 years!
  6. Yea it's fairly big mate. Maybe go to another mechanic if you're worried n just say you heard it could be a stuffed tailshaft coupling n they'll be able to tell if its stuffed
  7. Pulled out and refitted link pins, fixed rattling exhaust, fixed rattling door trim, retuned sound system, booked it in to another suspension shop to my fund my rear end clunk - round 5 :|
  8. Do you mean it makes like a shunt when you back off after giving it some? If so then fairly normal, could be a stuffed tailshaft coupling though
  9. Looks good mate! Can guys also put up what springs, and part numbers if possible. Idea is too try give people an idea of what springs to buy based on other people's cars Cheers
  10. Sexy and au should never go in the same sentence with each other lol
  11. ^^ is this just for b series j@ or fg aswell? Because I asked kev n he said to run his new surge unit I won't need to upgrade in tank at 350rwkw
  12. Why not just HD springs with polybags (I think that's what they're called) in the rear? And complete with some good shocks
  13. I think there's a temora 1000 and a cooma 1000. Going off those numbers I can't imagine you getting to the limit if it takes 42 seconds to get there. And as long as the SS isn't opened up or blown you should be right!
  14. Low kms for a BA which is good. And as Henz said mick would be more than happy to give you an honest opinion of the car
  15. Check out the thread need to get my shine back, pretty sure some of the detailers made some recommendations on what products to use in there
  16. That tip is a shocker lol. At least the cruze is available as a chevy so somewhat legit
  17. If you're gonna upgrade to a gtx you probably have to do the turbo mods anyway to go a bigger dump so it will still cost more in the end. If you have a b series then turbo mods alone should be fine but if fg n want big power then change turbo
  18. That's tough!! Yea like that, always look better in real life than pics
  19. Yea looks a little different but fairly close. Available in good sizes n nice concave on them
  20. I dunno if I'd buy a BA with that many kms n that much power. Boost wouldn't be too high based on supporting mods but prob check how long it's been running that much power. I'd be best to go a mechanic and get bushes checked, check turbo for shaft play, check the gearbox, etc It's very cheap but might cost you in the long run
  21. Daz had twisties on his na in gloss black n looked alright. For Argents there's always heaps on Facebook for sale around $1k to $1500 For that kind of $$ you'd be better off with aftermarket staggered 19's
  22. Kinda look like rohana rc5'a with insides painted! Would look so good on your car fletty!
  23. Just had new tyres put on the rear and they only just fit! 4sl springs, 20x10 +38, pumped and rolled guards, -1deg camber and a 265/30 tyre Now everyone says 275/30 is an easy fit and 285/30 is a squeeze but fits and some guys have low cars so that can only mean my offset is actually wrong, or people are running high camber to fit a big tyre on, which seems a bit counter-intuitive to me. Where is the offset stamped on the wheel so I can check? Just want to put up some accurate info for people like me who want a decent sized tyre on the rear without running major camber
