  1. Not sure who might be interested by sent an email today to United asking about the possibilities of more servo's in the ACT (especially northside) and the chance of these servo's having e85. Basically they said they're looking into more sites for servo's but it's more a matter of what comes up that's viable to buy as a service station. As for the e85 they recognise the demand and are currently trying to saturate QLD primarily with it to see its overall viability throughout an entire state rather than just in major cities but plans are to do the same for NSW and ACT next. Bad news is they can't give me a timeline because they don't know themselves. So basically no conclusion really but e85 is coming to Canberra, just don't know when lol
  2. Yea might have to discuss it more with him. No possibility of 3 ethanol tunes. Need a 98 for when I'm out of canberra and a valet so if I get stuck the mrs can drive
  3. no e85, but eflex. That's why question was for eflex
  4. Yea thought that would be the answer. No e85 in Canberra yet so going to have to stick to 98 for now Cheers
  5. Interested in this also. I guess it depends on the assessor and whether they pick up on things. As mentioned above they're not going to pick up on drilled injectors etc. Apparently there's a list of what' covered and what's not? Never found it myself though
  6. Mate have a look through the 300 threads, most list them in the first post!!!
  7. Been speaking to my tuner about running an eflex tune and seems to be happy to do so but said he recently finished 8 months of testing it and found it fluctuates between e60 and e80 depending on the time of year (can't remember if he said winter or summer was higher). If I go down this path the eflex tune will be my main tune and 98 my back up for when I head back home (every 6-8 weeks) Just wondering whether it would be safe to tune on eflex if there's so much change in ethanol content? If its tuned with afr's a bit richer will this deal with fluctuation? I'm happy to just have a 98 tune but I've got eflex around the corner and setting the car up for it anyway so if it'll work I'm going to run it
  8. Well even if its just a couple of hour thing just to catch up and try and meet everyone. I'll definitely be organising a cruise for start of August though! Will organise it end of June/start of july
  9. Yea can be done cheaper than that. I haven't got the camber arms (but I regret not getting them) so not sure an exact quote on the lot. Although the diff bushes were done by a ford dealer with me supplying parts. Increase NVH is too hard to say because when they were done I have 4sl king springs go in and 20's put on aswell. At the moment I have most of the rear ends bushes replaced with those rims and springs and yea its more rough than standard but that's everything together and it still rides better than my brothers stock xr4 lol. I think you'll get more NVH from stiff lowered springs then you will from the bushes.
  10. Looks like we're getting some more numbers in this ACT thread. Possibly time to organise another cruise in the coming few weeks? Thoughts on when and where guys? Basically any of the weekends in May should be right for me
  11. Tried getting a video but you can't really hear it in the clip. Suspension place said the link pins were fine! Might try use my camera instead of iphone and see if I can get better audio
  12. Yea ford dealer did mine for $380 in labour, Cheaper than what everywhere else quoted me
  13. As above getting the old one out is the problem! If you're happy to cut it off then that side of it's all good lol
  14. Car should be re-tuned anyway but cause the bigger size of the cooler it might feel laggier because bugger area to fill
  15. There is one centre diff bush and 2 side ones. The two model numbers above and the ebay link are for all 3. It is suggested to do all 3 at once because by changing just the middle one you will tear the side ones up sooner because its much harder. I paid $250 parts plus $380 labour for diff bushes. You would obviously need to supply camber arms which are about another $300 or so. Extra labour would be minimal as its only a matter of 2 bolts from there
  16. Nah wouldn't have been me mate? I only head that way for work really and it's normally just parked around there. I also have white background with purple NSW plates. Oh and purple wheels, that's normally the give away lol Gee that sucks mate! If someone did that to my car I would make sure they don't ever do it to someone else again!
  17. Direct bolt up on factory holes. I'd imaging the wiring uses the same plug as the spoiler otherwise its like 2 or 3 wires, wouldn't be hard to cut and solder in
  18. I just figured that it was trying to turn the gears in the diff like stalling it up? I'm no mechanic just thought it was weird that it only happens when cold n when in drive. I guess if drive changes the revs from neutral there could be a different amount of vibration making the link pins vibrate?
  19. http://www.superpro.com.au/find-superpro-parts-for-my-vehicle/part?id=KIT190K Kit 190k I think it says Individual part numbers are 1 x SPF3232AK (1 bush) and 1 x SPF3148AK (this includes 2 bushes). http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-BF-FG-Rear-Diff-Mount-Bush-Kit-SuperPro-Falcon-Fairmont-Comfort-Bushes-/380480786876?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item58966c11bc&_uhb=1
  20. Waste... of.... money.... R spec cop car however, well worth it lol
  21. I never spot any nice car's because everyone at uni drive sh*t boxes or car's that are 'good for the environment' lol. I won't be doing anything this weekend but might go for a cruise next weekend if Mcinnes and I aren't too hung over lol
  22. Yea at idle, both stationary and moving. You can make it happen stalling it up to 750rpm. Doesn't happen in neutral though. I wasn't able to tighten the link pins with load on suspension as I don't have a hoist and car is too low, getting the wheel shop to tighten them in the morning. I suppose we can check whether its the diff or not aswell while its up
  23. Hey guys didn't know where to post because could be a suspension or diff thing Since changing my link pins in the rear the other day I know have this weird grinding sound. It's jsut noticeable at idle and is a fair bit louder at 750rpm but then goes away after that. I thought it might be diff related but just a coincidence it only came about after changing the link pins The other thing is it goes away once oil temp gets up to about 140f, again making me think its diff because the oil is getting up to temp. Car's going in for a wheel alignment in the morning so gonna get the guys to get it up on the hoist and check it out but yea any clues? Link pins are going to be re-tightened because they could have come a bit loose Cheers
  24. If you do the camber arms make sure you do the diff bushes at the same time because the diff cradle has to be dropped to install them so kill 2 birds with one stone. Would be looking at about $1k for everything installed
