  1. I just figured et streets would be wide. There's a couple running 295 and 305 but invo's have a rounded shoulder so fit better than a lot of others. And yea overall diameter will make a difference, still recommend guard work n not too much low
  2. Wikipellor reckons rear muffler delete will give gains for what it's worth. I don't think there would be many that would be willing to get a retune on just a muffler delete. Feel free to be the first
  3. Yea went up to 18's to fit bigger brakes. New car of the future is a huge upgrade. I thought other manufacturers like BMW and Chrysler were going to be next but volvo's are alright. If not quick at least they'll be safe lol
  4. Thread no longer henz is the best? All about vinyl didn't last long Henz?
  5. Yea I think theres about 50 of us that have done centre or rear muffler delete..
  6. So glad I read this thread seeing as I'll be dumping coolant soon and taking front bar off. Thanks for preventing me from making the same mistake lol
  7. You'll need rolled and pumped guards and not too low to try make that work. that's a fairly wide tyre with a lot of side wall. Imagine your stock rear wheels being about 18mm further out towards the guard and that's just the wheel, then the tyre will be at least about 10-20mm wider than that. So imagine 40mm further out from where it is now. Plus it wouldn't be advised to go so wide on a 9.5" 305 is better suited for 10 or 10.5" wheel
  8. Fryer probably knows, seems to know a lot of cars around the area Ps fords hurry up and put up a pic of your 300!!
  9. Yea I heard about the chrysler too. Gotta admit the new ones look so good!! But still so heavy and guzzle fuel lol Feel free to get together over the next month but yea that's just when I get back. So what are people's thoughts on a meet and cruise on say the 27th of July? Can go for a drive out of town and have lunch and cruise back in? It'll be good to see what mine goes like after the tune on open road
  10. Yea haven't seen them in black with that much poke or on a ute
  11. Maybe they order them in a certain stud pattern? On the ebay link it says they're the last set, could be for a reason?
  12. I agree! Someone get cheap business cards made up so we can leave on their windows and pass to them when we see them lol! There is such a big turbo community plus a few v8 falcons so we could get a half decent group together In saying that we should probably organise more meets too! I head off 2moro back to griffith but am back again mid july so would be happy to get together on a weekend at the end of July, early august?
  13. ^Agreed. If it has never been changed then it can't be too long. Maybe get some pics or something and post it up and someone in the know might be able to verify that its a stock shaft?
  14. 245 on an 11 inch rim. I thought Henz's brother putting 215's on a 9.5inch wheel was stretched! When do these hit the country fletty? Someone might be able to go to a retailer and put them up against their car for reference for pics?
  15. Never heard of them but was considering them aswell. Can't find them anywhere on the internet either Maybe just ring Jarrad and ask him what they're like. I'd say he'd be pretty upfront about the build of them
  16. Forum sponsor taleb tyres is about as cheap as they come for nitto's. Send them a pm and they'll work you out a price with freight. They also sell their invo's on ebay (for the same price) so just keep an eye out for them as an ebay seller. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/255-35-19-NITTO-INVO-HIGH-PERFORMANCE-TYRES-BRAND-NEW-MERCEDES-AUDI-MORE-/281114425512?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4173b9b8a8&_uhb=1 $300 a piece + probably $70ish in freight to the west
  17. Yea I probably spent 30+ hours going through both. What you do is find a ute gets its sizes and offsets that work (ie chilaxn) then read what others have used and visualise what that would do ie 5mm further out because 5mm lower offset. Then get pics like smurf that are extreme and work back to somewhere in between that your happy with?
  18. ^^ From the video he held third the whole time so shouldn't be any different in an auto. It is harder to drift in auto than manual if you going to be going through the gears though
  19. These will look tougher but also look smaller! I like the colours on these better than what the 2.2.2's come in
  20. sh*t that's some good drifting! And everyone says you need a light car to drift properly lol. Did those tyres on that second last corner worry you? I'd hate to rip the front bar off Really keen to get out and drift my car but not finding many tracks that will let us do/that don't burn you alive! New track opening in western Sydney at the end of the year so might try hit that up a few times if I can
  21. 233k? How's it holding up! Congrats Steve, testament to the build of these cars. Yea there's some dodgy things here and there like diff bushes but very well done!
  22. ^^ agree with freaky! I've been through that 3 times from start to finish and I saved pics and what sizes, offsets ride height etc and make your judgement from there But basically 19x9.5 +20-30 up front and 19x10.5 +20-30. Not too low and guards rolled and pumped. Somewhere around there would look good! Theres a couple of utes with huge poke getting around on here
  23. Yea more info? What was wrong with it, pics before and after?
  24. Fark such a sleeper! Don't know how I missed this! Awesome job mate, great mph!
