  1. Nah not that stretched but will be more stretched than the rear. Yea they'll clear inside. I ran 20x8.5+42 with 225/35 and so a 19x9.5+30 is the same. I'll probably run a lower offset than this but this is pretty safe in terms of how close to the guard it is

  3. You have about 400rwkw don't you kroozing? So you would choose the achilles over invo's just for value for money? How well do the 1's actually hold your power?
  4. I have prosport gauges in my FG and got the car back from the tuner the other day and the oil temp gauge is now reading at max. They wouldn't have gone near the gauge and I have checked all the wires. The earth was dodgy so I fixed that up but still nothing. It is receiving power and accessory power, as well as changing colour with the lights but yea the signals wrong. I'm not overly handy with a multimeter so maybe someone can help explain what to test, I figure there's either a short somewhere (although I traced the wire from the gauge to the sender and found no breaks in the line) or a faulty sender. Any help would be appreciated, otherwise its going back to the tuner on thursday to see if they can figure it out but don't really want to be charged $120/h for them to try a heap of things I can possible do
  5. I'm not running less than +35 on the rear as I want to go minimum 275/35 and at my height any lower won't work. More or less worried about whether the stretch at the front might look stupid compared to no stretch in the rear
  6. He wants to put a 35/40 or gtx on ms. I thought the same then read it again. He already has rapid cooler sdp No valve springs in your price list. Add another $1000 installed. For injectors and surge and pump I'd budget more like $2k. I paid $1300 for pw surge with pump and wiring, $700 for ID1000's then about $300 for those installed
  7. if you know who the current tuner is you can ask and they may even give the file to your new tuner to make it cheaper for you as it'll just be a retune
  8. Hey guys whats your thoughts on the following 19x9.5 +30 with 245/40 19x9.5 +35 with 275/35 Just not sure how the front will look with some stretch but with the rear having none? Cars pretty low and not much camber so not sure how much lower in offset I can go at the front and dont want to stick out any further than the rear
  9. Is your car stock or tuned? I know the achilles are a good tyre but really searching for a bit more grip so leaning towards the 595 evo's Currently looking at 19's as another option too

  13. Yea cadence is a terrible brand! At least go entry level option audio, pioneer or even sony xplode lol And as Jacob said you can get a line converter for under $20. My line converter and wiring cost me about $300 to do my whole system, more expensive than what some spend on everything. Well worth it though..

  15. Sweet! Well when it was first tuned I wasn't happy with the idle cause it was too high. When it went back for the fuel pump to be changed I asked Kit to drop the ideal so he did and then it was stalling. So put it back up and still stalling now which is weird. I'm gonna see if Kit will run it up on the dyno for me cause it just doesn't make sense
  16. Yea as far as I know they name and shame hoons pretty quickly so not bad. Yea mcinnes do a thread. I tried but failed. Already took work off that night lol On a side note, having troubles with my tune again so hopefully its all sorted by then!

  18. I don't know that much about brakes but they kind of look like 4 pot brembo's not 6 but I could be wrong. On a side note forum member 'worm' is selling a staggered set of 20" TSW nurburgring which are very similar and 20's like you wanted. They're also pretty cheap and brand new. They are bronze but he can get them painted cheap too. Try send him a PM

Could probably sort something out if you want to leave your car here? I live in a townhouse complex so between my front yard and communal carpark it'll be pretty safe.
  20. Yea will do Mick. I was making a comparison to a car who was tuned by the same person on the same tuner. But yes I have not much boost, a really clean afr graph and smooth power delivery backed with a surge tank and pump capable of over 400rwkw so the tune is much more reliable and safe than some and at the end of the day that's what I need not having much in the way of income

  23. that's the plans. Hopefully get to Sydney soon. Is it worth running on street tyres or better of investing in some et streets? Yea of course the goal was 300 but yea. Don't have a stock power because it had mods before it went there. Boost is tapering to 10 because he said no point leaving 12 or more in it as it wasn't making any more power really so fine by me. Also probably going to the braddon cruise next friday with mcinnes and whoever else wants to go so come along, wanna meet some more members in the area Yea I realise that, I was just wondering why it went less on the same dyno to a mates car. The dyno graph is a good looking one going off the progressive increase and afr's lol Still having a little trouble with the idle, had it adjusted yesterday but still stalling (its auto). I'm sure if I go back monday Kit will be happy to adjust it again quickly. Other than that hoping to have a little fun with it this weekend and during the week. I'm definitely happy with the car and how it drives, just need to sort out some grip..
