Message vxr50t, he has 18x10 on the rear, can't remember his offset, it's in the fg offset and tyre questions thread. I remember it having to be around the 20-25 mark to clear the knuckles where the control blade bolts on

Depends whether you want a 1000hp dyno warrior or one that can be driven. Need to factor in built diff, billet axles, brakes to match etc. I reckon $50k if starting with a stock car. You can prob save a bit on that with current mods but yea not cheap

Most guys seem to get away with 350ish rwkw but some have had them go soft as low as 300 and some had them last for a while in the high 300's. If going 300rwkw then you can probably afford to go without, but if going 350+ I would suggest spending the $1k and getting them

Rough idle is not normal.. Most good tuners can get iD1000's to idle better than standard

Seen plenty of 3" systems make more than 350rwkw but yet I had the same problem with my factory exhaust holding me back. 3.5 and twin 2.5 are pretty similar, just make sure you're upgrading the dump pipe as well

Did the same thing but on the opposite side. Figured that even if its blocked off from the foggy it will be working similar to the heat exchanger, if I do any track work the foggy will come out

Joe from CMS puts his transcoolers between chassis rails under passenger seat (or there abouts) seems to work well otherwise he wouldn't do it

Car thinks you're racing around a track so holds a lower gear to both slow the car down but also have torque there to get going again. Pretty clever technology when you think about it

Soooo will my rapid cooler hold up to 400rwkw or do I have to upgrade it to PW stage 2 or 3?

^^ this! That's like 240rwkw and you shouldn't be doing tailshaft bearings unless something isn't balanced right or the car is dumped on its ass

Yea 5x114.3. Centre bore there are mixed views, when I had spacers made they were 70.5 to be safe and they fit relatively snug

Heard the Hurricane catback isn't too bad. Get your tuner to test the exhaust, and from what I understand they should be able to tell if valve springs are going soft. If you really want 400 ask the tuner exactly what they think it is and if you're keen to go ahead get them to start testing things

I think lux packs are 19x8 +36, so you'd be looking at like +15-+20 for flush, so 15-20mm, problem is slip on's in that size are a no go and bolt on's require wheel studs to be cut. 25mm bolt on's are your best bet but will poke a little, so more than flush

I think its my good mowing skills that keep it like that lol. Nah not that much rain, for some reason that section grows pretty decent, the backyard isn't so good. We do water it heaps though cause we run the sprinklers off bore water so can afford to water it lol

Yea so far so good. I bought them second hand about 18 months ago and can't complain. They are a bit on the heavy side but they are 'luxury' rims not performance rims.

So I decided to wrap my car 3 months ago, finally got around to getting some pic's on here. You may have seen some pic's on facebook a while ago It's just cheap vinyl and it was wrapped by me and my brother so its very rough but happy with the result overall. Will try update when I pull it off to let people know how well cheap stuff peels off
