  1. Why 1 piece? Most seem to use 2 piece with upgraded uni and stuff don't they? So is that a kit to rebuild using your block or a full long? Sounds like things are getting serious, time to turn up the wick
  2. What shaft did you decide to go with and whose going to fit it?
  3. No, the coolerworx and herrod replacement piping kits can be put on without a tune
  4. I've seen a radar detector work successfully more than a dozen times in NSW. And no I don't own one lol
  5. They look like 10's if the tyre is a 275. You'll find the rim width stamped inside one of the spokes. Either stick with a 275 and go something better than a falken 452. I would probably even consider a 275/35, the added profile will help with grip. 285/30 is another option but I think there's more to be had with an extra 5% profile than 10mm width
  6. Don't know who has such a machine, Fryer might know someone. You could give M and A Engineering a ring in Mitchell, they might be able to do it or point you in the right direction
  7. It should be right but will be close. achilles are a relatively narrow 275 That is, assuming you haven't corrected your camber from lowering
  8. If a tyre suited to the rim width is optimum then why does everyone put 275 et's on 8" wide rims for drags? Why would they not run 10" rims...
  9. I have different sway bar links so not that. Spoke to a bloke who said it might have something to do with the style of CV on the repco shafts as its different and can't handle the car being so low. Anyone heard of this being an issue with repco shaft? Apparently Ford cv is ball and cage and repco is tripod needle roller bearings. Means stuff all too me but hoping theres a resolve other than replacing the shaft with genuine ford :/
  10. Hey guys, my right rear cv sh*t itself the other day and had it replaced with a repco unit and ever since it has a creak over bumps and in and out of driveways, only hear it at slow speeds and it seems to get better when its warm. checked all the bushes, shock, spring seat and lubed them all up in case there was something just rubbing slightly but can't find anything. Anyone had this issue before? Not sure if something is wrong with the shaft itself or install I have taken it back twice to get looked at to no avail and the shops next option is to pull it out and put it back in because they can't seem to find what's causing it Cheers
  11. Both styles of wheel will look average size especially at stock height. 19's are more practical for grip and comfort but if you want looks go 20's.
  12. I bought these for myself for christmas in Aus, took a few days to come from Tassie http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-2-black-spline-nuts-key-lock-nuts-set-of-20-1-key-/291110809598?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43c78e6ffe&_uhb=1
  13. Drove to Sydney, got rained on, drove back to Canberra..
  14. Edit: posted in wrong thread lol
  15. Very good results have been seen with the 6235. Comparatively to the gtx3582 it comes on earlier and hits higher peak power, from the testing I've seen
  16. Wider wheels doesn't mean wider tyres. 'Better' offsets allow for wider tyres

  18. Not sure about legalities but +35 is fine, but will need a slight roll of the lip
  19. I have an external trans cooler on mine behind the fog light installed 12 months ago and it slowly developed a flare from 2nd to 3rd and now sometimes 3rd doesn't shift straight away, it holds the gear for 2 seconds then shifts. This is every day driving stuff, seems to shift fine at wot. Thoughts on whether it is the trans cooler or possibly something else like oil level?
  20. Should have plastidipped them instead lol
  21. Depends why you want to do it? Ideally you're looking at 20x9 +30 all round
  22. I think there's a few companies that make tramp rods for the leaf rear end. Or just go 4 or 5 link
  23. Racing at WSID next sunday? Will be there aswell
  24. My bad thought I heard they were making up to 380, maybe that was on e85
