1. Gday I'm considering doing the same conversion, just wondering @100kph what's the tacho reading? Thanks
2. How did you measure this? Did you do the actuator line first then the manifold after that? Or did you do have two gauges and did it at once?
3. Look like there isnt much intrest so wont go ahead but if anyone wants anything just PM me.
4. I had the same issue when I had a generic tune in my car but when I tuned it myself it dissapeared. Some also had the same issue and awas going to go to Ford and see if they could work it out. Try doing a search.
5. Can be done that way or completly remove the BOV and block that off. But yer that will be okay.
6. Do you have a larger actuator eg:12psi actuator fitted? If so YES it may overboost.
7.
Is the cat 100cpsi? If it is im definately keen and have money ready to go when ever the group buy starts. Whats the minimum amount of people we would need to get those prices?
Cats are 150 CPSI Group buy for these prices would have to be for 10 units BA BF- Dump pipe only $280 + delivery FG - Dump pipe only $280 + delivery BA BF Adaptor pipe with the 150CPSI cat $320 + delivery If anyone wants any I can get them single units as well form the exhaust shop just PM me.
8. They only have them mild steel for now and yes here is a an FG 4" dump pipe as well. I think if you guys want a group buy I can do 2 group buys. One for the dump pipe and one for the adaptor with cat. Let me know.
9. Get you turbo ported and for a larger actutor fitted. A higher presure actuator will hold the waistgate closed longer allowing it to come on boost harder. I always like my cards comming on hard. I find that a larger actuator (12psi) and a 4" dump pipe will make it come on earier and harder.
10.
id be keen pending price and quality
Had a talk to the exhaust shop. $280 for the downpipe $320 for the adaptor pipe with the cat. Let me know what you think.
11. The occasional rock or jolt will be the gap plugs. 550-600rpm is low for idle. Also spray some carb cleaner in your throttle body. But yer I'd get the idle raised.
12. that's wierd it only happened to me only when I had a generic tune in it, when I turned it off back on again it was fine. Let me know what say!
13. I could do a group by for dump pipes and adaptors if anyone is interested. 4" dump pipe into 4.5 inch highflow metal cat then 3.5" after cat to twin 2.5" pipes which bolt up to the factory system or any aftremarket twin 2.5 system. Mild steel.
14. I also had this issue sometime back but mine was happening when I started the car. Does your car have a generic or a mild tune in it? Mine was caused by the idle being too high when the motor was started. I quickly fixed it when I got my hands on the tuning software.
15. Yes bolts right up to the factory system and replaces all the restrictions. Has a nice tone as well. I get them custom made and am producing them so If you want one let me know.
