I had a similar problem lot of boost an no power, pain in the arse to find the problem, but I found it an it was my turbo, it was rooted, my rear turbine wheel was damaged an that's what caused my loss of power. What I sugest you to do is put it on the dyno an see what power you get check the tune while your at it. I relise you have a manual mabey your clutch is slipping a bit.

An also guys forgot to mention that im not going to the old tuner any more, I have now narrowed it down to who will be my new tuner an its either tunehouse or cresent motorsport, I have had a lot of people refer me to both of them, iv spoken to both an actually visited cresent motorsport an spoke to joe I think, an he was very helpfull.

Hi mate yea I had a plazmaman cooler but I gave that to my little brother to but put on his car, an I thought from all the good things I hear about the nizpro cooler,I would give it a try.As for my turbo, the damage was caused from some debree from the manifold, so I can can understand why I wont get warranty on it. What I will be doing now is putting in a new catridge from billet turbos, they have a new spec billet 66mm wheel an a bigger turbine wheel, with this spec catridge I will have to machine both covers.

Hi mate, theres a few updates, my car now sits in my garage, iv been doing alot of work on it lately, first thing I did is pull the turbo off to get it inspected by MTQ who I bought it off, today they gave me a call saying that my brand new turbo is rooted, way out off balance and also the turbine wheel edges have been damaged, they are blaming my standard manifold that has a modified pipe for external wastgate for the damage done to the turbo, they reckon some off the welds have broke off the manifold an damaged the turbo which means they dont want to warrant it..From day one soon as I took the car out off the shop the turbo was making a grinding noise while the car was warmed up, didnt do it cold, I straight away asumed that the turbo was faulty there an then this is why I was 35 rwkw down in power, I believe that the turbo was given to me faulty ,I know myself that it has nothing to do with my manifold because the inside of the manifold was all cleaned up so that no debree could enter the turbine wheel. I believe the turbo was unbalanced an while my car got warm the rear turbine blade would scrape the rear exhaust housing causing the damage.I will do every thing I can for them to except my warranty claim because this is bullsh*t, they actually want me to pay a 1000 dollars for the damage. Anyways I see how il go with the turbo, hopefully it gets sorted. The other work that I have been doing on my car is fitting up some dash 6 bungs on my heater pipes that supply the turbo coolant, im gonna be running speedflow fittings of them with braided line straight to turbo, iv also put in some new studs for my new etm manifold(one thing I gotta say is that this manifold an dumppipe that lee made is a work of art its simply amazing how good his work is). Right now the manifold is getting ceramic coated. Iv also ordered a new big big intercooler from nizpro,it sould be arriving soon.

Hi guys a bit of an update, iv spent an hour or so looking to see if I can find any issues myself so I could fix before I take my car to the new tuner so I can minimize the costs of them looking through my car an fixing the problem. Anyways this is what I have found, cam angle sensor plug(exhaust side) has been damaged abit from heat, you can see its melted in a few areas of the plug, an also the two wires that come of that plug for the cam sensor has had its insulation melted an wire has been afected from the heat aswell, its pretty fragile. Also the two plugs for the vct solinoids have had its locking tabs broken from heat I thing,they still sit in the solinoids probley so im not sure its a huge problem. And aswell I had the car scanned for codes one came up showing that variable cam timing is over retarted, after that scan I took the car for a minute drive an re scanned it but it showed nothing this time,so that was a bit strange. Well this is what im gonna do,im gonna cut the affected wire of the cam sensor replace it with a brand new wire with a much more better insulation,also change the cam angle sensor. This problem may have caused some of my misfires an surges that I have had issues with,well anyways its gonna be one less problem for my next tuner to sort out.
  10. Hi mate yea I know that's crazy amount of boost going through, all I really wanted to do is make sure that I have the right gear on the car so that when I do go to the new tuner there will not be any problems again.

Hey guys I thought I give you an update, my etm exhaust manifold sould be coming on monday, I will be installing them sometime next week, then towing the car of to a exhaust shop to get a dump pipe remade. Now what do you guys reckon sould I go selling of my new plazmaman 1100hp intercooler an be getting myself a new big big nizpro intercooler instead, or am I waste in my time an money, remember im only after 330rwkw mark, an my previous tuner said that its one of my components that is letting me down because of my high inlet temps? An also what do guys reckon of this, my car was making 327rwkw at 19 or 20 psi, 840nm of torque with my old set up, an now at this moment its only making 295rwkw with same boost but a huge increase of torque of 1190nm, the only thing that has changed is that now I run an external 48mm wastegate set up on my standard manifold,with a brand new gt3582r garrett .7 cover turbo, an also the plazmaman intercooler which I changed over from a chinese 500x400x90 intecooler, that is all iv changed, can use guys spot something wrong with this setup?
  12. Hi mate, yea they light up, I think that there a mechanical gauge insted of electric, as in using a sensor.
  13. not 100 percent sure I think ambient temp was 21 degrees an air intake at 22 or 23 degrees,something like that mate.
  14. I have it were I want it now, all is needed is the fans to come on earlier at traffic or city driving an I shall be sweet.
