Would be easier to save, and do it all at once, saves tuning every time you add bits. And, as stated, go talk to people in your area, or check the WA section out on here to see when they have a cruise on. Everyone has a different opinion on mods, so you may get bowled over with info.

Sounds like the BF is a bit dodgy. Plenty more out there. I would rather start stock, and build to suit me, not buy some flogged unknown car.

Am I missing the point here? Isnt the G6ET an FG?????? +1 on the G6ET, mate has one, and has had XR6T sedans before. Even had a BMW, and says the G is a far better car than all of them.

Big thing in the US is fitting LS engines to Mustangs. Also seen a BA XR6 the other day with FG Gt stripes on it. Poxy.

You got too much money Don!! I see your point, hope its all worth it. I have been thinking of playing with my ute, but I know if I do, its going to turn into a bigger money pit than it already is. Plus, it goes hard enough for me anyway. Want to do some stuff to my Chev pickup, so will spend the money on that instead.

I dont think the brakes could even match the 380mm fronts of the GTS. Very tough car(GTS) in the flesh, and sound horn as well. IMHO, the FG wasnt a big enough update from the BF, and is now an 12 year old design(coming from BA). VF maybe similar to VE in some ways, but is only 8 year old design if you look at it that way. I t is just too little, too late for Ford.

xb99, I presume you have been dealing with the wrecker on Grand Junction Rd?? I got my GT brake kit from them, and my FG XR6T leather seats, and couldnt complain about them. Very helpfull. Its a worthwhile brake up grade IMHO.

As usual, she has take a million pics, so when she gets home and downloads them, I will pick some out. She has never been to Mallala before, so is very impressed with it all. She ended up getting her car in one of the display areas,so shes stoked. Not a Ford though, its a VZ Clubby.
