Fark me, you blokes have to get out past the Toll Gate sometimes. Yellow road to the right is Highway #1 if you didnt know. Its actually a nice spot for a lunch break at Meningee. Bakery is not too bad, nice lawn area, and of course a pub for the dry mouths

Hey Don, I have one of those boxes out in my shed. The fact its got nothing in it doesnt matter.

The seats bolt straight up to the BA/BF base frames/slides. No mods needed. I did mine on my sisters front lawn. 4 bolts, that's it.

There are plenty of good cars out there, maybe not as fast as the SC, and turbo brigade, but as BP says, going fast looses its apeal after a while(and a heap of fines/points) I have 5 different brands of cars, and get most of my enjoyment out of the least powerfull. Driving pleasure, and comfort sometimes win hands down IMHO.

I doubt that "tons"of people will line up just on the looks of the car. More the fact its the last of Ford Australia. I have an open mind on any brand of car, but IMHO, the FG is a better looking car. And they are plain. Lets hope for all the workers at Ford(and GMH, Toyota), that these last models do us Aussies proud. End of a long era that's for sure.

Not sure on Falcon boxes, but MV is the Toyota gearbox guru. I did price him, but had good reports from Adelaide forum boys on DRW, so it suited me to go there as near my sisters place. Mine has been done 2 years, but not putting out your power, and dont drive it much. No complaints though.

Who built the gearbox before? I had mine rebuilt/beefed by Dave at DRW down at Lonsdale. Nice bloke, good price.

The back of the "new" Falcon looks like the left over bits from the VR/VS Commodore. Pretty average attempt at building a car IMHO.
