  1. Not trying to stir sh*t, the Bugatti is a great car, but throw a cool $100,000 at the GT-R, and man, what a car you would have for a 1/4 price of the Bug. And yes, I know it would still be a Nissan.
  2. I have lowered rear springs out of my BA ute for sale. Dropped about 35-40mm compared with my new standards. Am in Mount Gambier though.
  3. I have resorted to reading the Vic section, as its been that quiet in here. I need help :hang:
  4. I just refitted my standard rear springs in my BA ute. Too old for this lowering stuff. And, didnt like the rear down, front up look. Dont mind it in standard form. Been quiet in here, Jetsnots computor must have packed it in, or he and Fluff are having too much fun :sungum:
  5. If you dont want to target the cops, a turbo may be out as well. An SV6 isnt a power house, so you would be surprised with the turbo ute. They go VERY well. :sungum: The utes dont ride like a car, or a late Expensive Daewoo ute, as they still have leaf springs instead of coils like Holden. I have a BA turbo ute, and I like it. Set up correct they are great to drive, and if not hammered will deliver good fuel economy.
  6. Jeez Bruce is going to be busy this week(that's if hes back at work) You blokes got Bruce withdrawal symptons? note to self, must ring him
  7. To be a little more helpfull, some Toyota, and Mitsubishi wheels will fit. Same bolt pattern. Offset, and size to clear brakes will be the problem. Or, use Ford rims :sungum:
  8. I know that. Just havin a stir :sungum:
  9. If you think he has verbal diarrhea, have a better read of some of the threads on this forum. Dont like the colour myself.
  10. A mate has it on his FG XR6T ute, and so far very happy. Price is the killer.
  11. OH NO, not an SA Panda
  12. It all depends on the inspector sometimes. Our bloke comes down from Adelaide, and depends on how sh*tty he is, as to what he OKs. Mine was too low, and the blow off valve was a bit obvious. Noise was OK(tested)
  13. Had many dealings with Trans SA have you? I have had more than most of you put together. Plus, I have been down and checked. A couple of issues they werent happy with. I dont need to ruffle any feathers.
  14. What model do you have? Just seems a never ending list of things to do for me Just fitted a new motor, and seeing as it doesnt have an engine number, have to get it over the pits, Back to standard it goes(what they can see anyway :sungum:
  15. So, any cutting could become an insurance hassle if in an accident? They dont need much of an excuse to can you these days.
  16. Outsider, if you think my comment was having a "stab" at you, your skin aint as thick as you think. I was actually agreeing with some of your comments re the "tiring" comments. And if you did some reading of my replys to some of the "Bruce" threads, I actually made the comment that his dyno reads high compared with my local one. Now apparently Dyno Dynamics dynos read higher than Mainlines, so maybe this is some of the difference seen? And, dont ever insult my mother. She was a lot better looking than Bruce, and I am not Jetsnots brother :sungum: I am actually old enough to be his father though
  17. I wouldnt say I am a "Bruce fan". Yes, I have had 2 cars tuned there, and yes, he was very helpfull as were his staff, and that's the way I like to see a business operate. I use/go to a lot of businesses, but that doesnt make me a fan, just a happy customer. I have never used, or met Mick at Pitlane, but he has been very helpfull, and is an asset to this forum. So, do I bag him just for the hell of it? No I wont.
  18. So, where are you from outsider? or are you too ashamed to say? There are plenty of threads that are getting "tiring" I doubt the vics, or any other state would like it if we started to slam their "fav" tuner.
  19. I had a similar head ache when I blew my engine. Get a 2nd hand motor from wreckers, and build up, or as I ended up doing, bought a new F6 engine from Ford. Plenty strong enough for my needs, and everything brand new. You will still need a certain amount of gaskets regardless of which way you go. I had my turbo rebuilt, new radiator, hoses, and belts etc. Not a cheap exercise.
  20. Yeah I do, but dont want to ring him if hes on hols. Or does anyone here know who the bloke is that goes to Bruces to do the Expensive Daewoo chip?? I dont know his name, but he is a mobile auto elec, and lives at Hallet Cove I think.
  21. Have a look at those diamond ice wheels in the for sale section. Not good IMO.
  22. Does anyone know if Bruce is open this week? Just need to call him.
  23. A few engine builders down my way recommend the Spool gear.
  24. We pay the price for living in a small town
  25. FPVPSI, much hassle in fitting the ZF?
