One of our local dealers has a white G6ET in their yard. No price yet, but looks horn with the black leather. I could be tempted, but missus is not a Ford fan. Its a stocker. I like the white. Keep up the work on yours, its all an individual thing with cars.

In the handbook, Ford advise to use an auto for towing instead of the manual. I would look around for a decent BF XR6(non turbo). Mate sold a BF ute with leather, 75,000ks, very tidy, for around the $8,000 mark.

Its not a turbo. And its an auto. Nice colour though. Do you want another turbo?

I dont know. I just put up with it. My BA ute does it sometimes, and our work BA tray does it all the time. Maybe some adjustment on the handbrake lever, not sure.

I cant see what the difference in XR6 rear springs, and Tornado rears would be? Are the Tornados lower, or do they have less spring leaves?? It is usually dictated by the towbar design for towing capacity.

Not that I am a fan of the Chev badge on the Expensive Daewoo thing, at least in the USA, the Late model camira is sold as a Chev.

Thanks. Yeah, I only do 3 months at a time. Have all cars on seasonal as well. I am running the 4 speed electronic trans, and Late model camira dash cluster, so gives me the full trip info as well.(Calais dash) Can read faults thru the diag port, and change shifts, power etc. Currently running HSV 255kw tune. Bought a VT GEN111 Calais wreck for all the parts. Best way to go. Have done all the work, including wiring, myself, bar the tuning and turning off security. It has been a big job, but will make it a great truck when finished.

Its sitting in the shed unregistered at the moment. Got too many cars ( 7 between me and my daughter ) Regos a killer. Trying to get my Chev ute with the GEN111 finished for Trans SA inspection at the moment. Will put the turbo back on the road in a couple of months. Looking at a few upgrades. Maybe bigger cooler, injectors, and dump pipe before a tune. My tuning man is keen to spend my money

You should be able to pick up an F6 intercooler off Ebay for bugger all. While not a big power builder, its gotta be cheap extra couple of KW. As a daily driver, the suspension is a better option IMHO. But then I am an old fart with no real idea, unlike lots on here.

Nice ute mate. I like the Pursuit utes (just not quite as quick as the turbos :sungum: )

I have had both. Previous engine had SCT, new engine has VCM because that's what the company that fitted my engine had. I still have my SCT, and will probably go back to that on next tune just because I have it, so may as well use it. I think its more the tuners knowledge that's the winner in the end, not the program.

Some do Make the trip to Bruce. Well worth it in the long run. Give him a ring, and talk to him about your wants. He may have something laying around.

I think you will find that the NHRA in the states are mostly now 1000ft. Trying to slow things down :o

I am the one who had mine done by Dave at DRW. Mine isnt putting out the power like yours, but very happy with the whole attitude, and work from Dave. I got mine built to what I drive like (sort of) MV have a great reputation with the Jap stuff.

Not being rude, but how come no Regency?? If come from interstate?? Would be handy to know if some loop hole.
