  2. Fark me, over a month and no one about. I think its time to move on, go somewhere with more action. Will sell my Ford.
  3. Everyones gone and bought a Holden.
  4. Here we go again, no action. Must be all over at the GM forum. I dont think I will bother anymore.
  5. Well, its nearly the end of another month, and as usual, everyones left town(or the state). Come on people, surely someone has a Ford that goes?? or at least has something to say(good or bad) I will go back to my 4x4 forum now
  6. Huh, when??? Has everyone moved to Victoria, or even smarter, bought Holdens??
  7. Aah, another new month dawns, and still no movement from the boring SA mob. What a bunch of slackers
  8. Howdy Don, I thought you had all left the state(although not much to stop for if our pollies have their way) Plodding along, working, selling cars, buying cars. Not bad at the moment, down to 3 cars from the 6 I had last year. Want to get back to 2 before long. Dont have the interest in working on cars these days, and health doesnt help. Need to get the fishing rods out. My mate Gus is working up at Prominent Hill these days. Good money.
  9. Come on fellas, this is pathetic. Been a month, and no ones even bothered to say gday. What sort of show are you Adelaidians running? Or doesnt anyone have a car that goes, or is worth talking about?
  10. On a more serious note( yeah I know, wrong forum), I maybe looking for a non turbo Barra engine and poota for an engine conversion into my 1989 shorty Mav. Complete car would be great, although dont want ex taxi with 1,000,000ks. Damaged car would be great. Anyone help? Also need FG sump and pickup for the job. Just checking ATM.
  11. Danish icecreams down Jetty road. Good waffle cones.
  12. 2 weeks, and no SA waffle anywhere to be seen. Shame on you all.
  13. Bringing this one back from the dead, does anyone know what a new ones worth? No real decent trimmers in our area. My BA ute one is sTuFfed.
  14. Jeez Don, is life that boring you gotta wish yorself a happy birthday. Get a life bud.
  15. that's normal for someone from Murray Bridge. Come on Don, get with it.
  16. I have had 2 tunes done by him in the past, OK, my engine blew in my ute(big boots ), and my daughters 355 stroker Clubby. Great to deal with at the time. Maybe different now, I dont know.
  17. Whats the go with Bruce these days, most of you Adelaide blokes dont mention him any more???
  18. I dont usually go that way, normally the Coorong run. Havent been up for quite a while though.
  19. Thanks for that Don, looks the goods that's for sure. And yes, will cost a quid, but is much needed in SA. Also heard Calder park is being ripped up, and concrete track being built. Back to the good old days when I used to go to both Calder, and AIR for the drags. Cant wait. :dancing:
  20. Talking to one of our drag racers, and he said its being built for drags, karts, and sedan racing. Being done by the bloke who owns the On The Run Servos. Dont know any more than that Don.
  21. At least I can drive it with the lining falling down, not like some others on here who sit down to piddle Gave it to the daughters boyfriend to drive, I am not interested in it ATM. On another note, hear that Tailem Bend is the next big thing in SA for motor sport. Bring it on I say.
  22. Got my ute back on the road today after quite a few months in the shed. Unlike others on here , there was nothing wrong with mine, just the joys of too many cars, and thankfully, seasonal rego. I rotate most of my cars that way to give them all a run, and if needed, repairs. My Maverick needs a coolant leak fixed, so its off for repairs. Will have to get used to the turbo power again, its been a while. Oh hood lining has fallen down on the ute, any easy ideas to fix??
  23. Ha ha ha, 180ks and no problems. You would hope not!!!!!!!! I did 230ks today, and no problems either. But then that was in my Subaru Will get my ute on the road again soon, needs a run, on seasonal rego these days.
  24. Yep, Gus has been working up at the mines on and off for a few months. I know the bloke who bought the business, he used to drive for a company I worked for back a few years. Sometimes we have to look past the power thing Don, power costs in more ways than one. Dont get me wrong, I like a bit of power in a car as well, but I get more of a continual buzz driving my old petrol Maverick.
