I am another who is interested in these batteries if they are proven reliable. On the temperature issue, does the manufacturer suggest a maximum operating temperature. Any ideas if inside the air box is an adequate cooling position? or is it more the fact that it is under a steel bonnet on a 40*c day?

sorry its probably too late for this post but may help ppl with similar probs. if it only happens when cruising at particular speeds, it is probably the transmission. happened to my old Late model camira so I unplugged 4th gear till I could replace tranny.

If you can forgive the poor camermanship, I found and easier mount for the overpriced autobarn catch cans. And for the lazy people... just use quite a rigid piece of plate to avoid wobbles.

Has anyone tapped into the icc plugs for constant power and used the cig plug for acc & earth? Also does anyone know if there is a problem with connecting power without icc installed? (for testing above theory). The hefty white plug would indicate supply to me but that's just a guess. Just though this may save time/wire extending/squeesing my fat head into the footwell....

Also keen on supplier...
