  2. Yea it's goin awesome mate. Took it out on the weekend to my family Xmas show and all the relies were all over it haha. Love it!
  3. As far as I know mate the remaining 175 are built to order by the customer (no set numbers of each colour). I think majority of the rest would be the popular winter white
  4. Haha now that's a tough cop car!

Haha sounds awesome man. I'll def be doing it. Sounds like I better do a few km's in it and run my motor in before hand so I can just hold it flat on the skid pan
  6. Yea it looks the same but that wasn't mine. I saw the same one (Pantha) in my home town on Saturday though. Thought someone stole mine for a second lol

Haha it's funny you say that tab..... They stuffed mine up. I ordered the premium number plates and they regod it with standard ones. Luckily I had a day up my sleeve so it didn't delay delivery. Awesome news tranny. Post some pics after you've taken it for a strap

Yea mate standard leather with a bit of sued. Pretty much opposite to my bf because that had leather on the outside bits where the gt has leather on the main part and sued on the wings. Heaps comfy

Oh awesome ull be driving around in it in no time then. Well I can't really compare it to the standard GT. I only really did a lap of the block in a GTP for the test drive. It is a surprisingly smooth ride though. I'd say more comfortable than my xr6 wih the 19" wheels. Handles really well hooking into a few bends too. You will love it mate. Won't be able to wipe the smile off your face

Thanks tranny when do u get yours? Yea I love the colour. I liked it from day one (obviously or I wouldn't have bought it) but its grown on me so much since having it. The red makes it really stand out and I get so many looks when I'm driving it. I guess people know its an rspec because of the unique colour

Yea it was a big gamble going with the manual having not driven one but I would definitely recommend it. I heard people say the the clutches were really heavy but I have an old XC fairmont that I've restored and it has a worked 351 with a real heavy clutch in it. The GT is a walk in the park compared to my XC. I also heard people saying they couldn't drive the manuals slow and smooth but I don't seem to have any troubles doin that. The manual gives you heaps more control over the car and is a lot more enjoyable. Having said this I have stalled it a few times. Takes a bit of getting used to driving a manual in a car that has electronic throttle control. Just seems a bit different to my cable controlled throttle carby cars lol. At the same time though it was enjoyable in my auto xr6t to simply put the foot down and let the computer choose a gear, especially when overtaking cars. I still say its a personal choice and depends what your goin to use it for. I would still choose the manual because its a lot more fun and I'm only using the car on weekends

I love this car. It drives so different to the turbo. Took it for a spin up the hills yesterday and it handled awesomely. I called into get a meal afterwards and I saw everyone checking it out and taking photos of it lol. Really happy with the purchase
  17. Roof lining was changed and all the plastics were painted on my bf (visors, pillars, etc) it looked great and only had a problem with it rubbing off where my seatbelt rubbed against it. Even then you couldn't really notice it Thanks panda ill look into them
  18. Hi guys I just picked up my new gt rspec and I love it. The only thing I don't like is the creamy coloured roof lining and pillars. My bf xr6t has fully black interior in it put in by the previous owner and it looks much better. Since this is prob going to be one of my first mods I was wondering if anyone knows a good interior place in Adelaide that does roof lining replacements etc.

Normally not a fan of red cars but that thing is impressive! I wasn't a huge fan of the GTP seats. They do hold u in better but makes it so much harder to get in and out of. Especially in car parks when u can't open the door fully
  22. I had the same issue with mine. Ended up taking the car into my suspension place just to get a wheel alignment and he noticed straight away my bushes were gone. Got them changed and fixed the problem 100% ive done 20,000km or so since and they have been fine

I wanted the black one. Always loved the black cars but I was just sayin it wld hav taken a bit longer for me to get another colour, either get one built or buy it interstate and ship it. The dealer I went through had already ordered the one I wanted so saved time there

Thanks tranny. Yea hopefully only a few weeks for mine cos I went with the black. Any other colour and it would have taken heaps longer
