I have been using K&N filters on my FG XR6 Falcon for years and they have never failed or caused any oil flow issues, I use full synthetic oil. I don't recommend using the genuine filters as they are just very basic filters, there are two types of oil filters, the one you brought and the one I use the HP-2010 with the wrench off nut and that is about the only difference in the filters.

Hi Could someone tell me where the radio aerial connection to the rear screen is located, I want to fit an external aerial as the reception with the factory set up reception is awful, I am thinking of finding the existing coax connection and running an external stick on to the back window. my car is 2009 XR6t, any ideas would be much appreciated. Well, new gearbox fitted and anyone on the Central Coast that wants to find a great Ford dealership then Grawill Ford Gosford is the place, they were very helpful, no mucking about with warranty just got the job done. Highly recommend them.

Hey PookeyMaster Towed it to the dealer this morning and they said they had not seen such a problem before, anyway they rang me this afternoon and said they will fit a new gearbox. Thankfully its under warranty. I will keep you posted if they tell me what it was, but the engine idle was fine, the service manager seemed to think it was a problem with the converter. Cheers

Hi Today when slowing down to turn into a street as I stopped the car it shuddered and the engine stalled, I selected neutral and restarted the engine and put it in drive and it shuddered and stalled again, after a few times of doing this I managed to get the car rolling and engage drive. Each time I slowed the engine wanted to stall so it was pretty tricky getting through the traffic without stopping, when I got home I could select reverse with no problem but as soon as I put in drive the engine stalled. It feels like when you drive a manual and stop without pushing the clutch in. The car is a 2009 FG XR6 five speed auto, I know I will have to get it towed to the dealer tomorrow so any heads up on the problem would be much appreciated.
