  1. Ok I'll try this. No way to get an indication by testing coils at all? My piping is a bit of work to get on and off haha, thanks for the replies somfar
  2. I forgot to mention I bought a new coil, I will try swapping them out. It's a bit of a pain in the ass makes me think easier replacing the whole lot rather than pulling piping and that top cover with it's rear most bolt I cannot get to easily!
  3. Hi everyone, Just a bit of a problem, 06 bf force 6 had a 90,000 km service at ford part of that was new plugs. They put plugs in that had a .9mm gap and the car went better than ever for a while but after 10,000km its slowly dropped power. recently it was misfiring on a cal under high rpm high load conditions. being rather naive I went in and asked for 6 plug and came out with plugs that have a .7mm gap, put em in and car is worse again, feels a bit flat and the same misfire. Today we gapped the new plugs to .9mm again and basically we have more misfire, boost at about 8 psi (should do 15) and a good 10 seconds for the car togo 5000 - 6000 rpm in 3rd gear. The engine light came on but when tried to read the code with the flash tuner, there was no code there and the light had already gone out. How do I test the stock coils and is there any replacement aftermarket alternative that is a better option, what spark plugs work for people and what is the appropriate gagap is there anything else I should be looking at? Car has tune, 15psi, fuel pump, injectors, cooler pipes, dump pipe and cacatchers any help appreciated
  4. Sorry in the first links there was a ] on the end of the .jpg stopping the pics working. theres no longer an edit option on my first post. The car was previously owned by sundeep.
