  1. 006 neo no options
  2. No not yet. I want to get a whole IRS first put a good centre in a diff so Incan have a spare to quickly swap over
  3. I just got a full e85 tune done on mine, my car had dyno'd 431 also and 405 on the local dyno in mt gambier. It went to 422kw on the local dyno, but what makes it that much quicker is the amount of low down power it has now, it's actually like three fat people sat on the boot when it hooks up and goes.
  4. Cutting time very closely for summernats, jut got engine and trans back in car last night. Did fg block Manual conversion Dropped IRS to do bushes Coil overs Replace drivers side hub It's off to the tuner tomorrow
  5. Heading over from sa on Wednesday. Cutting it very fine with an fg block and manual conversion still not finished in te car :-(
  6. Hey guys I'm putting an fg motor in my force 6 , the piston rattle of forgies sh*ts so I've bought a stocker and ill use the force 6 donk in a proper race car. Does anyone know if the fg head and bf head are substantially different? I've got good valve springs on the bf head so the plan was to swap the heads over to avoid having to swap springs. Which manifold should I use? Bf motor has the nizpro upper, stock lower. I'm pretty certain I can use the fg exhaust manifold, an eye inspection looks as the main points are the same except for the turbo being rotated more on the fg. Other than that I plan to swap sumps over and put my atomic oil pump from the bf into the fg motor.
  7. I tacked the side of the bolts to the flywheel
  8. finally got the car back from panel shop. paint match is terrible lol... front bar is a few shades lighter than the rest of the car :-( went from panel shop straight to ford to have the 3.46 installed. for the money I've spent on diff bush and diff install I could have bought a two poster. 3.46 behind zf makes first borderline useless but god dam it launches hard... f*ck me.. lol. poor axles haha. getting an aftermarket rail and turbo smart reg before doing surge tank. so good driving it again
  9. haven't posted on here in a while. my cars at the panel shop being repaired. I hit a koala , demolished bar, got assessed then hit a roo on the same spot and took out guard. two claims later (6000) I'll have her back ready to install diff. least this time wasn't as bad as the first time it went in ... that claim was over 8k. got a 3.46 to go behind the zf untill I put the manual in. still need to get a fuel line made up to run the surge tank and twin 044's. anyone know if the stock fuel reg will handle the two pumps?
  10. mine did not work once after swapping tunes, turning the car off then on didn't work, reloading the tune got it going straight away
  11. johno I'd heard raz was moving on, didn't know it was to herrods though!
  12. about 10km back to mates place. lucky diff was destroyed that we could flat tow it. then we trailered it 200km home
  13. mine was doughies, in 1st, power skid then smash second and no drive, rattle rattle ching Ching
  14. not sure tbh I presume it would be an avo cooler. more breaks = more fixes = more reliable
  15. same thing happened to my diff, part of the carrier and side gears fell onto the road. happened just yesterday. and as with other major failures on my car we have this one on video too
  16. it's been called off due to going to be 40+ I blew my avo 2" to 2.5" pipe off the turbo last night, got a split right down it. must put bov on... racing a black Monaco on the highway he passed me then realized I stayed on his ass... he was giving it a boot full haha. love just playing with the throttle in 4th just to keep up.
  17. that's *Beep* territory jet!
  18. my drum of e85 arrived from Melbourne today, quick change of the lhs axle (clunky cv) revealed that my car has a nuckle with an elongated upper hole for camber adjustment, the one I got with the axle doesn't... oh well will do for now. warrnambool drags on this Sunday so hoping to get the battery relocated before then and the intake moved from the turbo to battery tray. currently just cruising my intake temps are 8-9 degrees above ambient with the pod on the turbo. now to give the old gut lux a clean and haul the car down to warrnambool early Sunday morning
  19. my first thought as well.
  20. e85 to. turbo ford driver is like crack to a junkie
  21. the other day in the middle of nowhere a few friends and I were 'practicing' our drift skills when a guy came at us for nowhere. naturally we bailed. he chased my friend so I in turn gave chase incase old mate belted him, my friend took some pine tracks and got away, old mate stops on the road and stands in the other lane, I didn't stop he jumped out of my way as I went past while his wife was barking like a chiuwaua. ended up old mate gave chase on me and I was sitting on the speed limit for a good 5 mins. anyway afterwards I had diff oil spots on the rear bar, diff must have got hot. also I got a thunk thunk thunk noise under acceleration now. I noticed it the other night (before this) when I was asleep in the back seat and a friend was driving and giving it sh*t but now it's a lot louder. I'm fairly confident it's a cv an the diff is unrelated. anyone had cv's go?
  22. is this the car that bruce was telling me about that needed three blokes sitting in the boot to keep it from wheel spinning on the dyno?
  23. I had a feeling that would have been the case
  24. I built the motor and I won the dyno hp prize and go to woah
  25. Mt gambier.
