thanks guys,might see if I can get it before the next drags,looks like that's my only hope an I'll be layin off the octane for now too lol

I told capa my mods and they did me a custom tune

Since the drags I have put more fuel in it and it seems to be picking up a bit more power,won't know for sure if it was just the octane until the next meet,since I put more fuel in it I have slowly advanced the global spark to highest advance and the 0-8000 have all been advanced all the way,I haven't heard any pinging and the car seems to have alot more power then before,is there any chance that having it advanced all the way could damage the motor?

I have a ba xr6 n/a. extractors cold air intake and it was running 9.8 1/8 and now after buying a flash tuner x3 it is 10.650 1/8 very confusing.the flash tuner is the one with 1 custom tune the only setting I have changed is 1-2 2-3 gear change pressure to 20% I was going to try advance the timing more ect but I still can't see that improving on the 9.8 time I don't know what to do any info will help The only thing I did differently was put octane boost in it,but I cant see that on its own making that much of a difference....

Cheers guys,a mate of mine just bought new cams for his BFT I didn't want a massive cam so just thought I'd see how the cams would go in mine but probably not worth the effort.Might just call some cam places tomorrow

I have BA xr6 NA and was thinking of getting a cam but don't wanna go too big,what would a BF XR6T cam be like in the BA NA?
