SHADE UNDER 165MPH,(265.53 FROM CONVERTER SITE) R33 SKYLINE (DERESTRICTED ).DIDNT HAVE THE BALLS TO LOOK DOWN AFTER 160 AS TRAFFIC WAS NOT FAVOURABLE !
Just a suggestion, IF you make one up(whole kit) and send it O/S to a manufacturing company, they will churn them out for you which will save you on labour and give you a workable/worthwhile margin.
ok, the larger the wheel, the worse it will handle (theoretically). Each car has an optimum package/size/preference as to what's best. For me, a good 17" wheel will prob be best. 22" for looks, smaller for action !
the carnt is lower than a gophers basement. suck a golf ball through a garden hose suck thechrome off a cadillac eat an apple through a tennis racket ! couldnt fight sh*te !
yeah that's cheap. took Matt from sure shot automotive in Kawana waters, premier cct 2hrs to remove and custom tig mine but by christ is he a good welder ! lovely job, neat, and custom stainless steel , same as stock pipe, for $160. champion !
mate, my wife chopped a 317 GTS in our stock as sh*t FG, les than a 1000k's on it too ! I'll add, my mate owned a VZ clubsport, I raped his and he had a run in ours and near sh*t his pants !
my old XG, 400,000klms and speedo hadn't worked for years ! was ran by TNT as a courier from new and only thing I changed was a clunky diff for 250 bucks and 70 buck head gasket ! the I6 IS a great motor. As has been said by bomber, see how you go with ford and it'll probably all turn out well, even though it will be sh*tting you right now !
yeah been a wild year 2011 but 24 deg today, mid winter, cool nights for sleeping, then hot as hell in summer where sea temp is up near 30 deg ! bloody love it ! Beats lateral rain and -20c windchill and 120 days of rain and sh*tey weather any fricken day ! I done 6wks roughing it on the breacon beacons (welsh mountains for the aussies) in november 89. spate river crossings where the banks were 3ft deep in snow wearing 60lb+ bergen+ SLR and river temp wouldnt be much above freezing. slept in forest floor and trenches for 6wks. happy f*cking days ! And while the mountainous areas of Wales and Scotland are beautiful, They're not much fun at times !
yeah the manual gearbox in essence is old technology and the ZF is the best I've driven in auto trim. Best of both worlds would be a sequential clutchless manual like the box they use in the v8 supercars or the touring cars but on a road, they're just no use.....yet ! DSG is getting close to great but they only come in stupidly prices Audi and VW's etc. I love the manual, sure it's not the smoothest 6spd but strong. The auto is also fantastic daily driving auto . I would have one if I was to have another FG. Love a sh*t stir though !
