terrible in sedans. treatable with mal wood "fix" in utes. senna T says to do control blades and diff bushes to reduce it but at 7mth old, I am reluctant to fork out 500+ for what should be a FORD problem to fix. I'll see how I go.

can you elaborate on which exact bushes to replace mate ? Have you done this with a 100% fix result ?

unfortunately it's not ! mates 550 rwhp does it ! I suspect that I may need to wait till I am flush and replace the shocks with decent ones but I'd like to know before I shell out. . never had an issue with any ricers with bigger power or even stock (R33,mk4 supra also) .

dont know what quoting that is supposed to mean mate. utes and sedans are different. mal wood fixes the utes rear end with rods and some other stuff. I am unaware of a sedan fix. Can you link that rather than vague quotes please !

feeding the power in is the only way ! you can't just dump it as you know. gotta be sh*t shocks and springs. I hope someone chimes in who has changed them out or has a fix !

yes it happens in mine too. done it from new, I put it down to sh*te suspension componentry....until I find out otherwise ! sh*ts me to tears ! IF anyone knows if quality suspension change is the 100% fix , let me know !

I've had a play with my BEE-R adjustable BOV. if loose, it will rev more freely and noticably less lag and less flutter. tight enough to seal and hold boost. doesnt need to be tight as a ducks arse ! -

thing is with bucket seats.....you aren't supposed to drag yer ass through the bolster, more over it ! same as my evo recaro's, foam was buggered but frame was wearing the material. just be more careful and lift over it! I actually like the softened up look and also a good conditioner helps with the creasing . Bit like face cream on good looking chicks !

spot on... also, had over 80 of these things, never shat a gearbox ! drive it like you stole it and yeah, sh*t will break ! Couldn't agree more with the maf's and a mafless tune. night and day ! VF series turbo's are also good but so is a td05 hybrid !

miles away ! fuel is exorbitantly priced, roads are narrower, tighter, busier. road tax is emmission based. parking spaces are smaller and generally, wouldn't sell while there were a cheaper to runb alternative like a modeo ! . I am a brit, never seen one there, not even the HSV , ever ! Shame really as I think the performance fraternity would like them !

bolsters are leather. I love our 50th anniversary. beautiful car. bit roughly engineered in comparison to a euro built m5 but you can't really compare a 45k car to a 150k car and expect same level of quality and refinement but for 45k, they're a great deal !

just watch as you come down into caloundra troops ! It's a 70 and dual carriageway but the sneaky caaarrrnnts hide in the central reservstion. I've also been RBT'd there loads of times so beware going in and more so coming out if having a schooner or three ! I can't make the run but may drop down on my pushy (for a piss up )if I can make it ! then ride home through all the back trails !

ecutek is reflash of OEM ecu on subaru's. maf is retained. only avaialable on post 98 ecu's. pre 99 had to use daughterboard . 190kw is healthy for a 4wd car on stock ecu ! apexi power fc is next stage or haltech interceptor. I am sure that possum bourne also has an ecu for these.... love them ! imported them for years !

Had the previous tyre, 451's and loved them ! stick like sh*t to a blanket, great wet tyre...452's are the successor. F1's have been my weapon of choice with subaru's. amazing grip whatever !

fg xr50th looked great albeit a little too smooth and plasticy but has softened up great and starting to have a more natural look to it and feels good (give it a go with softener/conditioner every couple of months).. certainly not up there with my M535's leather but at a fraction of the cost, what can you expect ?
