I am watching a hydraulic pipe bender on fleabay . Quite interested in fabbing up some stuff of my own ! I need something to get me out of the house when that sh*te home and away is on along with all that other car crash tv !
express car cleaning come to my shop, washes car, does tyre shine etc and charges 20 bucks. It's just too good to pass up ! takes about 45 mins on my car, why the hell would ya do it ? I'll wax mine soon before summer so the tar spots don't stick as much but the rest will get done by this fella ! too convenient .
nice welds. pity its a twin system for a ute, I would prefer a single 3.5 or 4" system but the stock FG is good enough for my interests as I don't intend to drag it much at all ! I am after a fast road car and will retain the stock turbo as it really hauls ass now but a tweak to about 320KW would have me happy.
dunno about evo1's but 4/5/6 all had td05h. brilliant cars ! very fun cars ! ps, keep an eye on the actuator. water runs down in bonnet vent and they sieze !
also check the multi plug. could be as little as a poor connection. dry joints (solder) are easy to spot but if not too confident, just take the whole unit to an electronics shop, they will touch them up for you for a couple of bucks. easy to do yourself if you have a decent soldering iron setup. worth having in the man cave ! see what they look like. (poor connection from copper board to wiring which the solder is the link. ) you dont need any new solder, just heat old stuff till it flows onto wire properly. best use a flux pen as that is the lubricant(touch joint prior to heating ) that helps them both bond to each other. http://dragon.herts.ac.uk/~eleqdml/teaching/general/soldering/Solder3.gif http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/20/Cold_solder_joint2.jpg/220px-Cold_solder_joint2.jpg
definitely not for a track car. buy something small, light and nimble ! as some said, weight is everything ! buy a caterham or a wrx if you like 4wd. stripped out evo or similar will be an animal on a track ! you can but them from japan cheap ! forget the falcon as a track car.
No air should be coming from BOV at idle. tighten spring. when boosting and backing off it should snap open and close slowly.snapping back too quick means its not doing its job properly.
My wifes Iphone 4 sometimes wont auto connect. you need to find it again. mine seems to be ok although I don't drive the car that often. I think I need to reset them and start again. We had 4 phones linked at one time (listed) .
problems with classifieds. showing 21 threads for non car/random items (or whatever the proper heading is ) can't be viewed. States there are no threads to view although I can see the heading at the side !
