  1. Did you ever end up making these? They are still impossible to find all these years later lol
  2. It might be a broken control arm, I had it in the F6 after about 15000ks, was a knock when reversing and turning either way, turned out to be broken control arms (probably from smashing a pothole or 3), ford replaced under warranty no problem at all
  3. Keen to see you work out the cause Bellato, I have a similar clunk, ford said it has worn rear link pins (thought these should be a warranty item but apparently not?) I've had the diff bush replaced twice under warranty 15k & 30k services, nearly due for the 60k so will ask them to check it again as I think it's gone again, was thinking of asking them if I buy a better than OEM bush would they fit it instead, anyone had any luck with them doing this?
  4. Awesome thread guys, but just to keep apples with apples Dozer, the FG F6 is lights years from a typhoon. At the track I see some many GT335's have trouble cracking a 12, very inconsistent from the drivers, yet the F6, anyone can jump in, put it in performance mode, plant the foot and run mid-high 12's (stock). my first time ever down the qtr did 3 12.9's when it was only 1500km's old, then with 3000 I did 3 12.7's in a row, last time out on bald chinese Wanli tyres I still ran 12.9's and a new GT 335 was doing 13.5's all night But still they all sh*t on HSV's offerings

  6. My drivers seat squeeked like that till the first service, I mentioned it and they just sprayed everything under the seat with some sort of spray (smelt like fish oil) and its never squeeked since (2yrs). Darra Ford has been excellent with warranty on mine, after 6 months I had a clunk in the front corner when reversing, turned out to be a cracked control arm, so they replaced both sides within a week (was ok to drive still), then after a year there was a slight clunk on take off which I wasn't even sure if it was anything but mentioned it to them and they found split diff seals and it had created a problem with the tailshaft so they replaced it all no hassles, it did take about 2 weeks to get the tail shaft from FPV but replaced it all while I waited with free coffee Maybe try Darra if it's not too far?
