  1. I'm running one and my car made 319rwkw at 12psi and 345rwkw at 14psi. Very consistent in power even after 3 consecutive runs. I'm still runing stock cross over pipes with a square panel K&N filter. That cooler will be more than enough for what your after especially at that price. You can't go wrong!
  2. Get an actuator, better for the tuner and will hold boost top end
  3. 3" vs 4" test intake test would be good. Keep us posted. Also where/when are the drags? A.I.R???
  4. True...this sounds ridiculous but just about all bar and plate coolers drop around 2- 4 psi depending on pipe kits. I had a good chat with some of the cooler sponsors of this site regarding this.
  5. Really good power at only 12psi. Keep up the good work!
  6. Good work, how much boost you running?
  7. Yeah bruce did say that I could have/should have kept the standard hot side, however when he road tested the car he was suprised that it had made no difference in spool. I guess this had come down to the fact I'm still running the stock cross over pipes??? Just waiting on the rapid V2.5 system now. But none in stock for about 2 months.
  8. Yeah I did, wasn't the easiest job.
  9. Changed the hot and cold side pipes to Plazmaman. Got a re-tune this arvo at HPT. She now makes 345rwkw @ 15psi. Was 317rwkw @ 12psi. Heaps better to drive Lol
  10. What oil do you run Jet?
  11. Pretty happy with it, had it in my FG XR6T as well. I'm mean at the end of the day I'll always idel my car first thing in the morning for about a minute or two before I drive it. And I'll always do an oil change every 5000 - 6000km so I can't see any reason Nulon would ever give us any issues street or track.
  12. It's very possible mate. Add High flow K & N panel filter, gut the stock cat, re-tune and set of 17's with good rubber. Pretty well stock as far as I'm concerned. Gd Luck mate.
  13. Solid!
  14. I have a cappa cooler on my BFMK2. I would say that they are "better" than Monza/eBay coolers. But at the end of the day the choice comes down to whether you'd pay the difference for a little more power. I'm sure the cappa would be better than the stock FG and good for over the 300 club. Yes the thickness is 55mm stock, but so is the F6 310 and that is much bigger than the XR and produces more power. Do the math and weigh up the costs. Good luck!
  15. Was told by my tuner it may be likely in the tune or at least it can be sort through this
  16. Keep up posted mate. Hope you make that magic 330rwkw. Do you have a dump pipe as well?
  17. Guys I apologies in advance.... I have searched and read the Tube and Fin V Bar and Plate IC threads, but thought I'd just get a feel of SA people's own experience. I spoke with PLAZMAMAN today regarding an Intercooler and was left more confused afterwards. Cheers
  18. Thanks mate, the left fog light was removed due to choice?
  19. GTEXXED any chance of a pic to see how the 500x400x90 core fills out the bumper. I agree with JET about the 470 looking small against the B series bumper. I'm leaning toward the 500 core for looks. Cheers mate
  20. Noooo! But I can still ring for advice. Lol
  21. Yeah my cat is fairly small, prob the 3inch one.
  22. Yeah I was thinking of getting the new street core. Do you think there will be much power difference between them? I also think I need to get rid of my 200cell cat.
  23. I think it's to protect that aluminium radiators, as tap water contains all sorts of additves that can corrode over time. Demineralised water is free from these.
  24. Bruce wasn't able to do a proper road test as the roads were soaked. But yeah the car breaks traction pretty hard at around 3500pm in 3rd. Bruce said the CAPA cooler was only marginal better than the stock Typhoon cooler. We used this as a comparison with Rydeit's car as it was on the dyno before mine with very simiar mods. I guess I'm lucky with the fact that my cooler came with car. Looking in to the V2 kit already. I want 350rwkw at 14psi
  25. Mine took about 6.8Ltr on my last service. I must have let it drain it right out. I bought some "street-track" nulon 15w -50. seems to be good thus far.
