    You will have to get it fixed sooner or later. Might as well just get it fixed now and save a few $ on diff oil.

    Did you spray the solenoid before or after it happened? Check that the solenoid hose you took off is still on as the wd-40 may have caused it to slip off which will cause overboost. I cable tied mine to the fitting.

    If it's a reasonably cool night even stock cars can overboost causing boost cut. (The ECU cutting power to stop your pistons jumping out your block)

    If it still has no power/boost. I'd say cooler pipe. If it's driving normal now I'd say traction control or boost cut.
