  2. Will try and organise something for the 17th June then. If Tab isn't keen I'll give it a crack. How do you link google maps to here? Thinking something similar to the last cruise meeting in Currumbin but then heading out Currumbin Valley onto Tomewin Rd. then back up through Nunimbah valley and finishing at Oxenford. I'll go for a drive this week to suss out road conditions, Best route and a pub for lunch. The route I'm looking at is 157k's 2hrs 40min of driving. Can be extended. Any ideas welcome.
  3. So can we get the ball rolling for 17th? Don't want to leave it till the last minute
  4. You boys keen for a cruise on 17th June? I'll take you for a drive in mine Ash so you can get an idea of what yours would be like with the GTX.
  5. I made 345kw with flapper mod and 17psi on the stock turbo. I think the only difference between our setups was I've got a full 4" zorst.
  6. How long is a piece of string? Heard of some being stuffed after 30 odd thou. Others are still going strong after 200. Too many factors to give a def. answer. All it takes is a blocked oil supply line to kill a turbo.
  7. Still keen for 16/17th june Tab?
  8. Nice mate. I have the same problem, Everytime I leave Hi-Torque with more power it's farken raining. Hopefully Tab will get a cruise organised soon.
  9. Hey boost69 have you cleaned the throttle body yet? That would be the first thing I would do as it is pretty easy and will only cost you about $15 for a can of throttle body and carby cleaner. Doesn't hurt to do it every few months anyway.
  10. Has more to do with exhaust flow than actuator size I think. A more free flowing exhaust will create more spool and overboost if the wastegate isn't ported to compensate.
  11. Like to see you chop that HSV Bomber
  12. Cat, Injectors, Fuel pump, Cooler, Actuator, valve springs and tune. Then just wait for your trans to go bang!
  13. A 12psi actuator won't make a difference down low but it will help hold boost all the way to redline.
  14. If you were going to go 4" you'd be better off getting a custom system fitted as they tuck them up so they don't hang down as far as the Xforce system. I have a custom 4" on my BF and it doesn't knock at all whereas my Xforce 3 1/2" system was a PITA always trying to adjust it to stop it knocking. Mine in mild was $2k.
  15. They didn't reduce the cost of rego in SA when they eliminated the stickers.
  16. Happy dyno's. But E85 at the pump and cooler air temps probably help. If only they could work out how these dynananomometer thingys work
  17. ^Not exactly "completely standard" but gotta be happy with that.
  18. Already upgraded to the GTX3582r. Next on the to do list will probably be surge and 044. Then ZF built.
  19. Geez I don't think Peeeches will make the mistake of posting on this forum again. Look at what he's started
  20. 65000 should be allright if services have been kept up. The earls is def worth it as it flows better and is alot easier to clean/replace. Just make sure you get the one with the screw fittings not the crimped fittings as the crimped ones tend to leak.
  21. Might not throw a code but will overboost and probably hit boost cut.
  22. Yep. from memory theres 2 screws and a 10mm nut holding it in. just undo them and push it out from in the boot. Could be 3 nuts. Can't remember. I know theres 3 of them anyway.
