  1. Fuel filter? If your wastegate was stuck open it would struggle to make boost let alone overboost. I would start with fuel filter, air filter.
  2. Anywhere that does a good steak Somewhere with a bit of variety and a good atmosphere I guess.
  3. No preferance. Was hoping SDP could suggest somewhere? If not his fridge sounds good.

  6. Back on topic. I've got the pw stage 3 on my BF. Very happy with it. Little bit of cutting on the cold side and you will have to manipulate your a/c piping but good for big power. Was making 345rwkw on stock turbo with this cooler and race airbox, 4" zorst, 60lb Dekas, Valve springs, Walbro intank pump, Wastegate port and flapper. On 16psi. Now running GTX3582r at 17psi for 400rwkw. Could go more but still running stock internals and driveline.
  7. Wouldn't you need to replace ECU/Wiring looms in a N/A? EDIT. Didn't see paulies post.
  8. The power loss and thud was probably rev limiter. When mine overboosted I can't remember the code but it said something along the lines of manifold pressure too high/overboost. And the engine light came on.
  9. Yeah +1 for the GTX. Direct bolt on to stock manifold and exhaust. Just have to change intake pipe to 4" and hotside to 2 1/2". Good for 400-450rwkw easy. I'm making 400 on 17psi with the GTX on a BF.
  10. The biggest culprit is usually the pipe between the crossover and the throttle body. Bit hard to see or get your hands around the bottom so might be best to get someone else to rev the car while you feel around the pipes for leaks.
  11. My BF only makes 400rwkw on 17psi. Same turbo. Same injectors. Process west stage 3. 4" custom zorst. Mines auto but whats that worth? 10-20rwkw? Might have to move back to SA. 400-450 nice power either way mate. Would be nuts in a manual.

  13. If your rims were black and you polished them think of all the extra weight from the absorbed heat you would shed. But then again hot air rises so would it make the car lighter if you painted them black? Thoughts?
  14. Would start with hi-flow cat,remove centre muffler, injectors and tune. Depending on your budget you could go bigger intercooler, fuel pump, valve springs, actuator and wastegate port. Cons of this model are weak valve springs, weak rods, weak trans. Pushing anymore than 280-300rwkw in this model will more than likely end in broken sh*t.
