  1. Since its a GS I would definitely go to Autotech, didn't read it properly, he is a whizz with the Miami.....
  2. Pop up to sydney and see Autotech or CMS they are the best in the business. I have heard good things about Gentech actually had them go over a BF XR6T that I was looking at buying and found them good to deal with, never heard of ESP racing.
  3. just take it back they are very good out there and go for a drive down the M4 with there head mechanic.
  4. Get oil level checked. Mine did it after a service and had it checked and it was 200ml odd low. Once it was topped up slight whine when cold was gone.
  5. Had the service on mine on saturday plugs fuel filter oil & filter re torqued the inlet manifold and cleaned the throttle body and its idling much better but still hunting a bit as well. Its much smoother generally. He doesnt think its a timing chain issue , just thinks that's how it idles and im too picky.
  6. sure do. Ive had tunehouse and autotech and ford check it out and they cannot fault it. its been doing it for over 2 years its never stalled but it just hunts from time to time.
  7. Good stuff. Mines weird Wednesday after a 30min run on the freeway stop at a set of lights a few kays from the exit and its hunting. Take off and next set of lights perfect, and it hasn't done it since. Getting full service tomorrow oil & filter, fuel filter, plugs, clean throttle body and re torque inlet manifold and look for any vac leaks. If it still does it after that hes going to rip off the rocker cover to check at the next service.
  8. do a full service of both the diff and ZF.
  9. pull rocker cover off and check the timing marks
  10. ZF lurch. Pretty standard . Ford can reflash the transmission, they did mine years ago and it made a difference but it still does it on occasions.
  11. I used to be at the same exactly. But after a long period of short trips in traffic it went up to 12.5 and average speed of 41kph. But new job and in 12 weeks its come down to 10.9 and average speed is at 54kph.
  12. definitely e10 91 in all police vehicles.
  13. Autotech with all quotes were cheaper for me than CMS and im full blown aussie and ive used both over the years. Anyway you get what you pay for these days.
  14. As rednose said Autotech in Granville, they aren't the cheapest nor the dearest but they are very very good and customer service is the best I have seen in any business.
  15. Got valve float at 14 psi. was fine on stock boost and 10psi tune. Got told by tuner definitley the springs ( I had them installed earlier by another tuner). But manufacturer was adimit it wasnt the springs as it has never ever happened.. Ended up putting it back to stock and selling it as I wasnt going to fork out another $900 after doing them 3 months earlier.
  16. M&W motor trimmers in Penrith. heard good things and Im getting the foam in my G6ET drivers replaced with a hi density foam as the factory stuff is garbage.
  17. Keep us posted on this. Had a idle issue with my G6ET since day one of owning it pretty much the same a NZBen. Had ford do a reset on it and it made it a lot better. Its just a bobble every know and then, some days are worse then others it has been like this for 2 years. It has never thrown a code or engine light, or its never even nearly stalled. Getting the throttle body cleaned, inlet manifold re torqued new plugs in 2 weeks and if it doesn't fix it I might have to get it looked at. Is it just a case of taking off the rocker cover to investigate?
  18. I got a bad set of those Atomics. GRRRR
  19. Joe does good work. Is that a EE vehicle in the back ground?

    Remsa Pads

I have RDA rotors as well with the remsas and they are dusty to the point of being a joke. Mine have always been a bit scratchy but they have begun to squeal, tried a few big brake applications and still there so they are gone on Saturday for DBA's and Bremtec Endure pads.
  21. During gear changes the noise you are hearing is torque reduction, backing off unsure but it sounds like a miss on the changes but they all do it.
