mine did this twice only 1st time turned it off and it was fine second time ( 2 weeks later)I was around the corner from mechanic he diagnosed it as tps. Replaced it and had no more issues for 6 months till I sold it.

Heard good things about this oil good bang for your buck. Put nulon 10w- 40 in the g6et after 45000km of magnatec and it seems noisier with the nulon and not as smooth. Might go back to magnatec or try the durablend or royal purple.

no you will require a custom tune, DO NOT USE A GENERIC TUNE!!!!!!!.

Rubber Joining Pipe Come Off

my g6et developed a loud squeal and it turned out to be the rubber joiner at the throttle body, few turns on each hose clamp and noise gone. -
There at Roseberry, and S&H are in Botany.

You need a tune if you are going to remove the cat, or you will be buying a new bottom end... You can get second hand standard cat set up from macarthur spares for about $95 -
For me, Western Sydney 38yr old no at fault accident ever 2010 G6ET insured for $40,000. AAMI - $786 NRMA- $1258 GIO- $1086 Allianz- $974 I have been with AAMI for 7 years.

mine idles at 750 cold in both drive and park and warm 550 in both.

my ba mkii with 68000km stock as a rock had valve float.

Every new Fg ute at work has the brown coolant after about 10000kms, im talking 15 utes they all do it.

grab it it seems a good deal mine was a mid 2010 with 48000kms for $33000.

mine did it after 10000kms. getting it dumped and replaced with a 50/50 mix

if its still go factory warranty take it back to ford.

the ford workshop manual said 660 + or - 50 rpm in either park or drive, mines 500 -550 in either once warm... So it seems right mine idles fine as well. Thanks for the info champ much appreciated.
