I think this will give you what you want.. Dyno figures are numbers.. MPH speaks words I topped 132mph !! On 98...

The way I see it youll use your original turbo, which you know is still in good nick.. Second hand is pot luck. Yes they may warrant it..but just the labour alone of changing if its not good will be a waste As I stated previously I went 11.2 @ 130mph on 20's and 98... so E85 will be a no brainer... Precision turbos at Wetherill park .. speak to John..

Do the billet upgrade... Youll get flapper mod and wheel for similar money..
  6. When John at Precision was looking at it he was pretty sure it was going to fall on the larger of the to spaced bolts. My exhaust housing was at the coaters... Hopefully hes mistaken..and it is a straight bolt up...
  7. They may of.. but no ones posting anything... Good, bad or indifferent...
  8. Oh and regards to the actuator being in the wrong position. This IS a problem for us FG guys. Was at my turbo guys getting my 6235 set up and we found that the actuator bracket doesn't line up the the securing bolt holes. The bracket is about 15mm too short. BA/BF guys won't have a problem. Where the actuator has to be positioned for the FG lines the bracket in the wrong spacing sequence on the turbo. So.. no.. not a direct bolt in. Easily fixed by welding a tab and re-drilling a new hole in the correct position. More a pain in the ass if anything...
  9. Update... The Precision isntnt an exact bolt in. Well let me put it clearer. BA/BF..yes.. FG guys will have to modify the actuator bracket. Was down at my turbo guy today and he pointed out the problem. Actuator placement out of the box suites BA/BF. On the fG with the outlet turned to the usual position the actuator has to be placed on the opposite side. You can rotate the bracket but the holes theat bolt into the housing don't line up. The braket is short by about 15mm. So in other words the spacing of the bolts aren't even.. the supplied bracket falls short. Now it is a relative easy fix..weld a tab and redrill.. More of a pain in the ass...not the end of the world. Hell set mine up over the next couple of days.. will keep posted
  10. Love it !! Wouldn't expect anything less!! lol I like the blackout treatment...
  11. I use the atomic locks Brilliant.. Worth the money when you think of the time and effort you put into tightening every thing over and over again
  12. I love to see you change your spark plugs then!! lol
  13. Why did you take the inlet manifold off? The surge slips in from the bottom... Lines look good...
  14. Theres George measuring 10 inches with his hand again!!! Tape measure doesn't lie George!!!
  15. Comfort in numbers re:6235 !!!!
  16. It should crack 400 with those mods. Im surprised not tuning was needed with exhaust mods done??!? The modding bug has bitten..
  17. Mcmatty ....John at precision Turbos set it up for me, paid $1200ish.. that obviously included the wheel and housing machining, port and flapper mod,11.8 actuator and also Heat coating of my exhaust housing, dump pipe and exhaust manifold.. 390ish.. topped 132mph on 98.. But in saying that I am running cams..
  18. McMatty that would be the ultimate... but will never happen.. Close?.. Well see.. but just the size and pure physics will dictate that it just cant be.. I just came off a billet modded factory turbo.. and that was a ball tearer. It really surprised me and backed it up at the track. Great response and filled the void in the top end. I would recommend that mod for someone who is dead set fixated on keeping the low end response. Only reason Im moving up was a buyer came along for my unit..so I let it go for basically what it cost me... Mine goes on later this week..
  19. I think its more about response and spool Outright hp is no biggy... Me personally was more concerned about the above mentioned... Theres no denying the GTX's menace.. Its proven time again.. I've never done the norn so I guess this is just another "suck it and see" An overlay of the two dyno graphs from the same vehicle with just a turbo change will come Im sure..but till then.....
  20. Comes with own actuator and bracket set up for the falcon The regular actuators aren't interchangeable The actuator rod is a dog-leg shape Inlet outlet 4/2.5 inch respectfully
  21. No rear housing... But does get the actuator Got 1 coming...
  22. Great idea with the links Matty.. May have to throw a set of radials on to stay in the prestigious 50 !! lol
