  1. More boost doesn't always give the desired affect. Especially in warmer weather... Besides..nowdays.. most tunes are set at psi levels to take advantage of mods performed. Who would tune to anything less..
  2. Maybe good for 500rwk for stock cams and corn juice but for those not wanting to go E85 but want more ..definitely worth while.
  3. Dick Johnson doesn't tune.. Whats the go ?
  4. Top little conversion on the Turbo. John did mine before I went PT. Response and midrange is phenomenal...
  5. Cons: Not a GT Sounds poo Pros: Uhm.. Err... Yep.. Im done...

Im getting frustrated for you!! Seriously #ucked.. Been chasing a few little issure with mine..it can get disheartening for sure.. Have you looked at the boost solenoid? Just a thought.. Maybe your worth trying a different turbo... It seems to be pointing that way..
  8. Nice car and great result!! Was there today... It looked to be doing it "easy"... Well done..
  9. Long term Id say for sure. We can all imagine how many are out there.. The majority of owners will never lift the rocker cover. I changed my cams out at approx. 20k for a set of atomics. All this talk got me curious. So went and looked at my stockies..and sure enough, one of the lobes is showing signs of wear. Never noticed it... but then again I didn't go looking for it. 20k!!!! Scary sh*t
  10. Yep..choice is always a good thing. And with time we will have more. Till then a few of us will pay a premium..its always the way until everything becomes more mainstream..
  11. Well the average person stands to be very disappointed. Everything breaks.. Whats the limit? Wheres the cut off on power ? I doubt Joe would warrant a box that was built, shipped and tuned by someone on the other side of the country..
  12. I still don't understand why Nizpro is getting flack for not offering warranty? From my experience..theres no such thing as warranty on a performance part. Example.. buy a set of forged pistons from speed shop X.. Machine shop machines block, engine bulder fits parts.. another guy tunes it..and so on.. Piston number 6 fails. who do you blame? Who cops the warranty? You see there are so many variables to contend with. Anyone offering warranty on such parts..including Joe would have rocks in their head. All you really have to know that it is a superior part over stock..how you treat it after that is totally up to the individual.. Is it a lot of money? Hell yes.. but its even more money if you have to do it twice. Just my 2cents
  13. Will Joe warrant the shaft if someone else is doing the installation and tuning?
  14. Great.. Will be interesting to see you results Cheers
  15. Cost you more.. Not to mention the collateral damaged to anything surrounding the tail shaft...this includes the floor pan as well For the sake of a number on Sunday.. not worth it..
  16. Awesome power man!! .. Interior LED's look like SCG !! lol
  17. The larger dump pipe does just that.. acts as an expansion chamber basically
  18. Theres no way that core will melt because of a wrapped dump. Core melt from excessively rich or over-fuelling .. Were really not talking about retaining hundreds of degrees here..
  19. Cats are more efficient when theyre hotter..technically. Ive coated and wrapped my dump... Initially Id wrapped it.. under bonnet heat was cut dramatically. Then dump was off with a turbo upgrade, decided to get exhaust manifold, turbo exhaust housing and dump heat coated,,, All back together and noticed more heat under the bonnet and there was no way you could touch any of it without taking acouple of layers of skin off.. Re-wrapped the dump and temps went down again. Repeated pulls on the dyno and you can hold the dump... That's got to be good in my book Heat re-tension is energy kept in the system basically.. scavenging and exhaust speed..
  20. Yeah I get it... but I can assure you.. youll be doing it twice !! My tailshaft let go with less than 350.. so that's no excuse !! lol
