  3. Never thought Id be salivating over a volvo.. I love the whole idea of retro conversions. I had an alfa 105 afew years ago (all time classic shape) and I dropped a Nissan SR20T with matching 5 speed, RX7 steering column,brake booster/master cylinder and pedal box,chassis connectors etc.. engineered. Body was rough ..so I finished the conversion and then pulled it apart to do the panel and paint.. never finished it and ended up selling it in pieces. :(

  7. I believe ford wont delve too far into HP race due to the ZF and its limitations. Not to mention tailshaft and diff bush issues. The hardware just isnt up to it. Sorry bout the bold type.. wont let me change it
  8. That russian in the GTR id too funny. When he plants it he lifts himself out of his seat. And his expression..!! Like a pensioner trying to reverse park a camry!! These guys are insane.. Russian mafia in all their glory !!!
  9. Clubsports are good value at the moment. But in all honesty.. you get a hell of alot of car in the GTS. The whole dash computer thingy with all the read outs, magnetic suspension (MRC) guages.. etc . Ford still falls way short on this front. Yeah.. theyve got the grunt now.. but the rest is a bit average. HSV will come in hard Id say withy the power stakes.. and us ford guys will be left lanquishing. Its what they do.. and have done it for years. Outsider... yeah.. makes you wonder where its all going to stop?!!! can they just keep upping the power with every model? Or will Fords progress be haulted..abruptly with the end of the FG platform and HSV with the VE ? Modern classics in the making me thinks

    I had thrown a set of these in my last GTS. It was up to 120k and I was selling it to a friend. Thought Id do him a favour before I gave it to him.. I didnt rate them. They were matched to king springs by the way. But admittedly it was probably a little bit too low Good shocks are so critical.. more than any mod you could do
  14. It definitely is confusing.. but I worked it off say a 10inch +35 that Corzza has. and a +15 will be an extra 33mm on the dot.   15. No way theyll fit. They will poke about 33mm past your fitment pete Maybe a +38-35 with modified trailing arms..

  17. Im sure you can overide the T/C ?? Off is the fun button isnt it ?? M5 didnt look like he was even stalling it off the line...
  18. Nizpro cooler only comes in one size.. Big. Definitely 3inch cold side. Initially I was concerned about the size but after come research I was confident it would be ok. Throttle response is bordering ridiculous down low. Feels like a big block off idle. And I suppose you can say IVe future mod proofed it. Smaller turbo is more than capable of filling the cooler. We musnt forget the 4ltr is quite large in the turbo world. They pump alot of air..
  19. By changing your turbo and exhaust at the same time that would of made it hard to determine what got you your boost back. Im running a Nizpro cooler (3inch hot/cold) and small turbo..stock exhaust apart from 4inch dump and cat and it boosts its tits off!!! Pac23 ..mate Id definitely get your cat looked at 1st. You say only 10000kms ..but anything can happen..doesnt take much to melt or dislodge cat internals. There are so many variables. A leaking actuator possibly Cheers
  20. NSW is 5 years old before E safety check (pink slip) is required. An inspection will not take into account width of tyres. Its more for road worthiness. Worn tyres, light operation,oil leaks,exhaust leaks, suspension ball joints and bushes etc. I know it sounds ambiguous.. but that's how it is..
  21. I was there that night. Gorgeous machine that M5. Dont think either driver had a real handle on how to get the most out of their respective vehicles
  22. Those bumpstops have had heaps cut off.. I think youll be happy with the SSSL And there shouldnt be that much ride quality difference between 19's and 20's. Both sizes run the exact same profile tyre. The difference will come down to the actual weight of the wheel. that's my personal experience anyway.
