  1. Great time with a lazy 60 footer.. Its just got to make you smile !! Mine went 12.8 @ 109mph stock
  2. From memory no. But if you are interested in them give Mitch at TSW australia a call.. he maybe able to gove you a definite answer.
  3. Dare to be different !! I agree.. very good looking wheel. Just some have Brembo clearance issues. Trust me Ive looked into it.
  4. Guys.. TSW have just released a new wheel that I think may be of interest. Panorama rotary forged. Come in the correct sizing and offset weve all come to know and love.. 20x10 +40 and 85 +20.... http://tsw.com/alloy...ls_panorama.php SOrry if the link doesnt work.. maybe someone can post pics Cheers
  5. that's mint!! Pic number 5 and 3/4 shot rear are stand outs. It really does ooze AMG !! I was a bit undecided about the boot spoiler and the diffuser.. but they work hey!! Well done
  6. Yep.. absolutely amazing.. So understated and stealth I was excited about running an 11 on street tyres till all these low 10's started popping up.. and now 9's!!!! .... Was going to add my name to the top 25..50.. whatever... but I think Ill just wait and come up with something just a bit better and credible lol Your a dream crusher Steve!! lol
  7. Once tuned I wouldnt be relying on the read out. Its all changed. The fuel usage is measured from a constant.. that is.. the injector being the original sized factory unit. If you change it it will be flowing more but the ECU is still trying to work out the fuel used going off the original injector. They work it out using the pulse width and so on. Pre-tune my FG was averaging 10.5-12.. mix city/hwy and the odd squirt Post tune with 1000,s its sitting on 13.8-14.5. Doing a full tank to KM comparison doesnt reflect the increased usage its telling me. And rightly so.. a good tune shouldnt give u a higher fuel usage. That is if it isnt running the correct AFR's on and off boost
  8. Nice choice of wheel. What colours the G? I'm running all the same except 245/35 fronts. My rear springs are SSSL kings with rolled guards. I never drove it with out rolling them so I cant really say if they would of touched. But in saying that theres around 10mm clearance. The only place they will touch is where the rear bar meets the rear quarter.. bit of trimming there but nothing major. Up to last week I was running SSSL fronts.. they ended up sagging abit to much for comfort so I swapped my SSL back in. Again no guard rolling needed on the front. Not really recommended for the front as it will distort the guard. But what I did have to do it trim the bar where it meets the guard same as the rear. But in saying that my SSSL springs had settled to 330mm and that's being generous. You'll be running a slightly wider tyre , but I really don't think you'll have any issue. Hope this clears up any questions Cheers
  9. Easily the best thread on this forum guys.. incredible achievents. These figures have well and truely cemented the FG as a cult car in the true sense Steve.. mate... #ucking awesome !!!!!
  10. Ive got em.. and yeah I think theyd suit nitro.
  11. Then its not a 9.5 or a 10 inch rim. If its a 8.5 with spacers then whats the point really.. +40 @ 10inch is the pefect no fuss..no tyre stretch fit. (285)
  12. No way +25 on the rear.. If theyre 10's id say +35-40 9.5 to 10 inch rims will be +35-40 that's it on the rear. It sure does look good
  13. that's the sexiest looking bum since... hell!... ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Nizpro. Heaps of cutting though. I quiten like the idea of the offset inlet/outlet
  15. a friend of mines got a KE,,totally original and unrestord.. usual little old lady story. Mustard colour . Its a true time capsual..
  16. Ah yep.. went back out with a new stock shaft just to see. 11.8 @ 119 or there abouts.
  17. Neanderthal #uck-wits .. Id definitely take it further... They need to know that they cant treat other people possessions with contempt
  18. Did I say a few years ago?? Try mid 90,s.. pre-digital. Ill try and find some of the pics. Depressed me everytime I think of it :( The guy who bought , finished it with a roll cage etc and was doing sprit, hill climbs and targa type rallies.
  19. Hey mate.. Id be lying if I said I remembered you.Wasnt the night I smashed my shaft was it ? :( Welcome to the clan!! Sounds like your enjoy your T. Theyre an amazing motor vehicle. And the more time you spend with it, it opens up its true capability and personality. You still have to learn how to drive to get the most out of them. Its not as simply as burying your size 9. 12.8 is a good time for a stocker.. I believe there all capable of a 12.. its all in the 60ft'er... master that and youll be in the 12's no prob. Let me know when your heading to the creek. Just put my strengthed shaft in this week... Oh and a small burn out is a good thing. Anlittle bit of heat and cleaning of the tyre does wonders. I aslo ran around 25psi in the tyres. Any lower and you start losing the suface contact patch in the middle of the tyre, Oh..also.. till you get used to it, just leave it in drive or performance.. that way you can just concentrate on your 60.. then progress to manual. I have yet to master that. It all happens so fast lol
  20. Why no burn out ? I achieved 12.8..stock with a burnout..
  21. jimmixr

    Epa :(

Only if those "mods" are deemed legal.
  22. cant vouch for the Venturis but yes some 20's are ridicuously heavy and gives the car a shocking ride. But in saying that so are some of the 19's on the market. Unsprung weight is a handling killer.
