I GOT A SHOCK! My insurance is cheaper for the incoming 50th XRT Ute than it is for the out going Ranger! Both commercial insurance $650 XR, $740 Ranger. Must be the power of the mighty Ranger........ Not going to argue though. Must say u guys I fell to the floor when I read you insurance costs! I am glad I live in sleepy Cairns, cause we dont get too many cars pinched here (been 12 months since ive had a car stolen!)

O trader, thanks for that, it looks ok dosnt it? I thought that even if you hit the drivway it will look better than the scratched on painted bumpers. How lone does it take to fit?

In Queensland Spacers are illegal, including the type that have studs built in to them (eg, bolt to the hub then bolt wheel to spacer. This would be seperate to the fact the track has been changed. ** I could be proven worng as laws are subject to change without notice, at any min, should the goverment see another way to make a qucik$!

I am arranging another tour to Japan in January. It will be for about 10 nights and will cost around $2500(will be confirmed) ex Cairns inc Airfares, Accommodation, Buses, Taxis, Train Passes, Entry Tickets etc. you will need extra money for Food, Piss, and prezzies for the Wife! Itinerary is yet to be confirmed but will go something like this, Tokyo Auto Salon Toyota Factory Tour Toyota Automotive Museum (not just Toyotas have many exsotics, vintage, rare from all over the world) Toyota technology Museum Nagoya Motor Auction Mazda Museum and Factory Tour Hiroshima Piece Park and Miyajima Island Yamato Battleship Museum (26mtr long model of the biggest battle ship here) Kyoto (see a bit of Japanese culture) Tokyo Fish Markets (sushi for breakfast if you are game) Honda Motegi Race track and Museum and Go Cart Racing 500+ Private Car Museum (they even have a Factory 13b powered hj Expensive Daewoo Mazda road pacer ) Tokyo Tour inc Tokyo Tower and Toyota Automotive theme park If you are interested PM me and I will go thorugh it with you.

I would ring up EGR and tell them that they should supply parts for such an exspensive item. Depending on which state you live in you may have protection from Consumer Affairs or Fairr Trading. I woud think that this would fall under the "IMPLIED WARRANTY" section. This Implied Warranty means that a product that is very exspensive has an implication of quality and that any resonable person would expect to get good life out of the product. This would mean that they would have to supply parts, and it would have to be reparable for a certin time. Being purchased Secondhand may be your downfall though as ou dont have as much right to complain as someone how purchaed a new one.

As I say, ring the dealer 5 times I am sure u will get 5 different answers! Plates, just thinking about that myself, I would like undetectable ones............

LIVE in Cairns. Ute will be manual. Took the Auto for a drive, great car, smooth, but for me gotta be manual. Somone told me the only differance between the XR and F6 is the tune

Its me BCR01, and I'm back from the land of no power....well no XR6T type of power anyway. I have ordered my ne 50th Ute, due in Nov. I wanted to know what is the go with flash tuners now. I spoke to a bloke the other day who said it was $700 for the flash tuner and $1000 to do a program for it. Whats the best one around. I only want a bit better than stock....dont want to mod the car at all

I thought was strange that they are discount cars so much at the moment. The 50th Turbo Ute I just ordered, is about $10k under what I would have exspected to pay.

Has anyone heard any news on when the current falcon will be updated??

Well there we have it, its a free, $1000 , $2000 option..... clears as mud! Maybe becuse I live in cairns it cost extra freight to get an auto car here than a manual! I love all the different stories we get told by the dealers!

$2000 EXTRA FOR AUTO ON TURBO

I just ordered my 50 ann ute today. Went in last week to extend warranty on Rnager, and couldnt belive the price and value for them. under $41k with everything, including hard cover and rollbar. Looks like I,m back! Mine is going to be one of the last of the line, buld is late october. I thought there wre 450 tubo utes being built?? Mine is also manual

I found a cheap hard lid, was a miss order at the ford dealer that I am ordering my car from, same color too! Just to let anyone know, there are a few cheap on ebay (hard to only no bar and no remote locking) and the cheapest I found for new was HOL Parts. ( I hope I can say this without breaking rules, as I have no conection with the sellers.) Just thought you guys might benifit from my many call!

I too was trying to work this out. The best way is as many have already said is to drive BOTH! I drove the auto the other day, but today drove both, back to back. Same road conditions same road. For me................Manual.

Hi, Thanks for the heads up. Contacted the company and they gave me a dealers name. They are a little cheaper than ford, just. Thanks for the offer, but I do lost of kms so need to buy new!
