50th Ann Numbers XR6 SEDAN 2800 XR6T SEDAN 750 XR6 UTE 1150 XR6T UTE 450 Total 5150 Dont know about pacific colors and specs, but MOST are Auto. If you look on the Carsales.com you will see the advertised cars are about 95% auto for turbo and about 85% auto for non turbo. This should give you an indication, maybe, possibly, perhaps. Blue seems to be the most popular color followed by black and silver, up this way anyway. If you look on car sales, they have heaps of the orange for sale......... I belive that most of these cars were pre ordered many months ago by the ford dealers, this is why some missed out on Turbos. My car, which is being built now, was silver auto, but I changed it to White Manual. this is becuse they were all spoken for by dealers

So Can it be done? Are the pipes the same, and only the cooler different between F6 and XR6T? Will it increase / decrease th power or will it stay the same. My main reason for wanting to change is I dont like plastic end tanks! I dont want to go for huge power upgrade, bu might want an edit or such.

You put some good insightfull points across but I have to disagree! XR6T!
-
When I bought my BA I did all the reserch I could. Been a v8 man all my life. Loved the roar, and sound of my 351 cleveland. The XR6T was quicker than V8 it handled better cuase of the front end weight. I read a magazine report XR6T, XR8, SS commodore. They Xr6t was first over all. they said they were not sure why the XR6T's big brother was there.................

I have to put my 2 cents in! I see that many of you say how you dont like that people ask you to take them for a drive, how anoyying etc. How do they know you have 400, 500 rwkw? Did you tell them? is it on your number plates? is it plastered across your bonnet? that's why! They want to know what 500rwkw is like for the same reason you wanted to have it. You cant use it on the road, but you still did it to a road car. They want to see what it is like. they may not have any idea what it is like to be in a 500rwkw car or that it cant get traciton. I have no idea myself what it is like, the only cars I have been in that have this sort of power were factory cars (e.g ferarri and lambo etc, no not mine I couldnt afford the wheels!) and they can get traction because they were built for it. Dont be so hard in them for trying! So will any one take me for a drive! -
Hi, I have had some issues of the last few weeks with internet. I have been using mobile broadband and it is very slow! I will have all the dates sorted out this week and will post them here. Looking foward to going to Japan again. Please keep the Pms coming if interested.

If that's all the problems you have, that would be ok. My first brand new car has alot more problems than that! It is anoying becuse you pay good money for new cars, so they should be right. I had to get my wheels re balanced when I bought the last car, they ad put the weights 180 degrees out! Congrats on the Purchase. 19 and new car good on ya!
-
Mate if you dont mind droping the money, buy new is ok. I would buy (did buy) the 50th. they have all the sweet for the same money. some dealers are offering better deals with the non 50th, becuse the 50th is such a good deal.

hey Bunna, is "LPI" LPG INJECTION? As to car salesman saying anything to get the sale done, No Way dosnt happen, they only tell the truth! I asked both santa and the easter bunny and they agree!

Hi, Autos will be cheaper anyway, as they tend to be about $2000 on average cheaper than manuals (even though they were dearer new). I belive you can upgrade your premium sound though ASL Logistics. Good luck with the purchase!

Whats with all this Manual Trans Bashing?? I have to have a manual because I use my right hand to beer and have to use my left arm to change gears (not at the same time). If I had an auto my right arm would be twice the size of my left! Honestly I think each to thier own............... Us Young Guys go manual and oldies go Auto! I took the auto for a drive, and yes it was impresive, smooth as they come and pulls like and electric motor, but on a back to back drive I found that I still prefer manual. After reserch I found that it costs $2000 more to buy an auto, and after 3 years you get about $2000 less for an auto on average. As I liked both, but was leaning towards manual, this was the decider. Having said that if I REALLY liked the Auto and not the manual this would not really mater becuse buying cars is all about loosing money!

I really get a kick out of doing it. Many people have a very differant idea of Japan in thier minds. We go to see alot of car stuff, but also see Japanese Culture as well. Food is Great and if ya like dinking it is about half the price over there, and can buy it anywhere. Its sort of like a 10 day car show.

The Genuine heavy duty kit from Ford has the load leveling kit included, and although they are listed as different part numbers, they have to be sold together. I will be buying mine of a trailer supplier as they are about $800 cheaper and maybe com from same factory. Haymen Reese Heavy Duty $600 fitted, Ford $1200 + fitting) Yes you will have to cut a whole in the bumper. It would be cheeper to leave it on. If you are worried about the tounge the heavy duty one has removable drawbar so it is not too bad. You can just put a cap over the end of it.

I dont like silver, I feel that it is a color you have when you dont have the balls to pick a real loud color,.................(in my humble opinion) WOW! Those wheels, and the silver really work! I have ordered a 50th Manual ute in white (business only suits black white or silver), but now I have a delemma! I might change to silver!! Nice Car Nice pic! Good luck with the new ride!

What rims? What Car? What Sign? Cant see any of that.............
-
Hate to Burst your Bubble! But they dont make XR6T wagons...............hold on, they dont even make standard falcon Wagons Anymore!! Maybe you should settle for a 9 second ute, with a high roof canopy !
-
You will pay more for a regular than a 50th. The dealers dont seem to be giving any discounts on the 50th cuase they are allready CHEAP! I rang about 8 dealers and they wouldnt budge $1. I can normally get a few grand at aminimum.

not all of us...............

I had a BA XR6Turbo, which some of you may remeber becused I had a few thing RIGHT WITH IT! It was a real lemon. One of the complaints I had was that it was down on power at times and that it was eratic power. Thought I would show you the dyno sheet, which shows a back to back dyno test with another standard XR6T. This is the best way to test if your car in not what it should be.

Hi, can send pics, when finished, at the moment its in my head as the car hasnt been built yet!
