  5. 6 speed clutch wont fit the t5 mate, save your rear off for the box upgrade and baby the car, mine slipped for a long time before I finally fixed it, I couldnt afford the t56 so threw an exedy hd clutch in.
  6. After taking the 14k bloody oath hes meant to drop everything, and im sure he has, Brad has a long standing reputation and tbqh I cant see where the OP has questioned it, he simply asked a question and you're getting all fired u.
  7. I had this happen to me with the tb joiner always blowing off, the little mount bolts that hold the crossover down were shagged, and sadly ford charge a bullsh*t amount for new ones but they will fix your issue.
  8. In all honesty mate the amount you lose on a change over will likely be less than the total cost of replacing the box etc, 6k on a ba that still requires a new engine for your long term goal and 10 year old suspension and you see where im going here. I had your exact problem my t5 clutch went and I agonized over what to do, I ended up putting an exedy HD for 1100 fitted, that was 12 months ago and its still going good, but I don't boot it too hard these days, I had dreams of big numbers when I first got this thing but realised quickly that the ease of just starting with a manual BFII is the best path.
  9. I doubt these soccer mums who are the worst offenders even know what theyre avg fuel economy is, let alone a slipstream lol
  10. I ran Castrol Edge 10w60 up until recently and decided id try out the new formula Castrol Magnatec 10W-40 as its the semi synth recommendation from Castrol, the difference noticable between the two? Nothing, except its half the price.
  11. He means from the factory there is no gasket there but by all means throw one on itll help keep it toight like a tiger. You probably have a small crack in the housing causing your small leak, but I doubt its related to your sound, have you cleaned the boost solenoid? Also is your oil feed line stock or have you installed a braided line, I once let a service dwindle too long and my turbo changed sound and was a little laggy till I dropped new oil in.
  12. The turbo flange is the same size isnt it?
  13. Yes, the guy that took that picture removed the cover for the photo only.
