Exactly. If speeding was such a big cause of accidents, I and most people I know should have died 10,000 times over by now! It's also annoying when so many people seem to think that if they don't speed and don't break other laws, then they're automatically driving safely.

Cruise control is standard on XR6T's here in Australia. Steering wheel controls for the radio/cd player are standard for every BA/BF Falcon.

Geez, I hope I never have to have any warranty work done on the "old fella" ... this 'user abuse' thing sounds expensive. If a Ford dealer said that to me about brakes, I'd take it somewhere else and get a decent set of brakes put on.

I had this error come up too, when I had taken out the battery for a little while. I think it just comes up the first time you turn on the ICC, while it's checking that it's fitted to the right car.

You'd probably be able to pick up a BA with the 220kw V8 option for that price, but they might be hard to track down.
