OK, so whose bright idea was it to start this cruise at West Lakes this Saturday? (Hi Bloosted!) I just checked and there is a Crows game at AAMI Stadium starting at 7:10pm. Perhaps a change of start point is in order... maybe KFC at Port Adelaide? What do people think?

I voted for about every 9 days. I usually wash it once a week at the start of the weekend (usually Friday night), but don't bother if: - it hasn't rained and my car is still pretty clean from the last wash; - it's raining; or - the forecast is for rain in the near future.

Accuracy Of Trip Computer Readouts

Not long after I first got my car I compared the trip computer with manually calculated fuel economy, and it worked out to about 2L/100km difference. So it seems like they're all out a bit. I think the trip computer is really only any good to compare your fuel economy with how it has been historically, e.g. if it's getting better/worse. -

I unbolt the siren, wrap it in a cloth or towel or similar, then disconnect it and throw it in the boot.
