  1. 5k? yeh atleast... full decent worst, maffless tune, diff gears... and you might do it.. Yeh im spun out how easy it ran that time, I've purchased a monza IC, and will do injectors and tune but that's about it.. oh and a LSD... I'm not looking for heaps of power, but if I can push it into the low 12 that would be nice... luxo rocket...
  2. Hi all I had to post this as I'm most impressed. Since coming over from GM to Ford the performance out of the box from the G6E T has spun me out. My brother and me took our G6ETs to Kwinana motorplex last night and heres the results.. Pauls G6ET - Stock bar K&N panel filter ($100 spent all up) - 12.87 Mine, K&N panel filter and BPR xcal with freeby tune file that came with it ($800 spent all up) - 12.51 the 12.51 was also with my slowest 60 footer which was 2.19, my best 60 footer was 2.02 so its probably capable of a 12.4!!! The out of the box performance is awesome, my SS had a huge cam to get anywhere near those times. bargain if ya ask me...
  3. Not stats on a ute here but me and my brother took our G6E's to Kwinana last night and Paul ran 12.87 bog stock and mine ran 12.51 with BPR xcal tuner and no other mods... pretty impressed...

  5. Hi guys Ive had my G6E turbo lowered using dobinsons sport springs. The car looks good, and corners nice but it feels like the tailshaft is rubbing on something similar.. you notice is under mild to heavy acceleration from about 60 onwards... it doesnt feel like anything is actually rubbing ont he body, but feels like the exhaust is rubing the body or that the tailshaft is operating outside of the cv limits so it feels grumbly.. Anyone come across this before?
  6. Hi all Ive finally picked up my car... got a G6ET in black with black leather. only got 18s and its a 2009 demo with 4000k on the clock... 40k drive away... what a bargain... im wrapped. Got the SCT xCal3 in the post already, should be here mid week

  8. Well so it is... I signed the contract today on the G6E... and not the blue one as expected.. I got a black one!!!!! happy days. Scored a Demo with 4500kms for 40 driveaway including the C kit upgrade on the bluetooth (so the iphone works). So happy I managed to get the colour I actually wanted. bring on some big rims and a flash tuner!!!!! Ive finally come to the dark side!!!
  9. Hi Mate Gotta say.. love the style on the G6E... reminds me of my Bogan special I just sold. it had 400RWHP, large cam, deep dish with 295 on rear and a similar staunch stand like your G6E... ive just got a blue G6E and plan to do a similar look... well done

  11. Hi lads. I reversed my 6 month old jeep wrangler into the ocean last week (launching jetskis) and it ended up getting written off. before that I had a Bogan special with large cam made 400 RWHP snd sold it to try the whole 4wd thing.. Long story short I ended up in my bros G6E this week while im waiting for a insurance payout... and I love it.. im gonna buy one. he got a blue one with 19s for 38... what a car for 38k!!!! ive secured a deal for a blue one with 18s for 39... plus transfers and im wrapped... will get a tow ball to tow the skis around... cant belive im getting into the blue oval!!! The gearbox (A6) in the commode let it down.. car had bulk power but the trans couldnt be tuned properly and I ended up hating the car... the autos in the ford are great> my boss has a C63 and it reminds me of the way his trans behaves (not quite as good, actually no where near) but still 100% better than the Expensive Daewoo trans. Anyways, for 39k its a steal... 10k on the clock ex ford car... why not.. cant go wrong in my opinion Pete
