Go back to the company/workshop (speak to the same person) tell them who you are what was done the foam that was thrown out, be straight to the point there is always two ways ways one they will fix replace or two they will not want to know about it. Whats the diffence between the two would be great info, as Im thinking of changing my fuel pump in mine as its starting to make a noise. I can change it to the factory ford one or one you guys recommend as I know from experience it cut outs on low fuel tank.

Sounds like a coil issue. Get your coils checked out and if they need replacing you should see this issue go away.

I can understand your fustration but not everybody driving a turbo can be on the forum, I see this everyday while driving as the worst was when a P plater turned in front of the car in frint of me and flipped over into its roof. People seem to be in a rush rush rush.

Spotted that FG GT TAXI in Richmond the other day Victoria Parade. I am definately certain its a G6E dressed up as a FPV GT, GT's don't have the chrome around the door frames as this TAXI does. Body kit must be authentic though.

Hey guys, Do the switches light up on a 07 BF XR6T? Been asking this question for a while now cheers

Does anyone know if the switches for the windows front and rear on the doors are meant to light up on a BF XR6 Series 2?

Everything seems to be fine so far, still wondering why it all happened. Thanks for all your above comments guys much appreciated. Will keep an eye on everything for a while and see how it s goes, but still not sure if there are lights on the switches on XR6 BF series 2 model. Keen to hear if so or no.

We think we found the problem as I thought it was a earth causing this problem. Had a good look at the fuses and noticed that the interior fuse was blown, changed it to a new one also changed the rear tail light bulbs left and right to 2 new red repco ones. This fixed the problem with interior lights not working didn't even know they weren't working till tonight but there must have been a short somewhere, as one of the brake lights weren't working. This is why I'm scratching my head about this wondering if and hope this may have been the cause to this with the boot on dash beeping as its stopped saying now that the boot is closed???? Just wondering why the when the indicator stalk in auto in daylight why would it keep the lights on aswell, is this a issue with fuses earth??? Find out tomorrow when its day to see if it still keeps lights on while in auto on stalk. Sounds like I'm finding one thing after another, we have never had a problem with the car but is it cause they all seem to go on a certain out of date lol. Another thing I want to ask do the BF XR6 series 2 have lights on the window switches that light up at night when lights are on? If so do you guys know what I shoud be looking for as I'm sure they have them as my F6 lights up. Cheers

Well, the boot was replaced along with wiring as it had been damaged, since the car is back in our hands found another problem with the lights when the indicator stalk is on AUTO it leaves the lights on. Not happy. Tried to compare it with my F6 but my boot has the felt under it. Im guessing its something small that can be easily fixed.

I don't want to slam the boot lol not my car, just givin gthe owner the sh*ts as they just replaced the boot and all wiring and it seems to be beeping. Has this happened to anybody else once they have replaced to boot? I've been in the car and its a pain in the back with dash saying boot open. Also have found another problem lol soon as the auto indicator stalk is on auto it leaves the lights on. DOH!!! Feel for the owner.
