Couldn't believe Carlton today, but the game of the day was West Coast and Hawthorn Rioli was a gun tonight buddy was too busy contesting but was an awesome match to watch for but worse for any Eagles and Hawks fans. Both teams played well. Another dissappointment was to hear that Ablett was injured tonight, didn't sound too got from the doc.

I was planning on going last night but didn't have the urge to go, but its been a good 8 months since I used to hang out the front of my favourite spot. Not missing out on much lol, even though it will never end prinny will always be like it has been the last 15-25 years.

You have bought yourself a car that has the looks the feel of a real performance car as its a FPV and you have had problems with the car from day 1 and Ford dealership does not acknowledge this? As per all the comments above why did you go bcak to the same dealership when there are others out there? But my question is this why wasn't the air-box hooked up when this should have been checked? I have seen a few cars and I will tell you a story on the new black series GT as it was beautifully displayed in the dealership till I spoke to the sales manager that there is a fuse box cover in between the front bar and radiator, the guys were shocked I picked it and they hadn't seen it themselves. My point is how do you know the car you bought had the same negligence with the air-box by Ford and this could have caused the problem or the other possiblilty is look at how many the dealer that you bought the car from the young mechanic took it for a real good spin and revved the s#%t out if it to cause damage from day one. There are so many items you have mentioned that don't add up with the car but the list you have put all on file and use this info even the posts made today as we know the cars better thasn them as they are a dealer to sell as all about mass selling and not about the customer service but forward it on to Ford and go see a solicitor and get it to it asap time is ticking. Sorry to hear of your bad experience with such a successful favorite built car out of the FPV range, but not dealers are the same but please name and shame as I can name the Dandenong one as one. Forums are about the cars and the people that drive them if we don't speak out how are we to know. Nickd

Yeah you could be right, I put a multi-meter and shes charging pretty good at 13. Are you an auto electric?

Thanks for your info bionicxr6t05. Get this, been under the bonnet since my last post. Disconnected the battery connected it again tried to start no go, disconnected battery again and she started to our amazement switched it off and started again with no troubles what so ever. But I know the car was at Ford yesterday then came straight to my mates place and its sat there since now. What work that Ford done was replaced the thermostat bypass o'ring, replaced the tailshaft dampner but how would this not make the car start? Seriously buzzing us out.

We've had a look around and checked a few of the fuses. The dash board flashes intermediately with loud clicking sound with the different warning lights flasing when you turn the key to accesaries without enagaging to starter motor. The clicking sound also resinating from the fuse box and what I believe the throttle sensor (TPS) battery is not dropping when starting the car. Got me really puzzled, has anybody had any issues with the ignition module? Any info would appreciate heaps.

I friend of mine has a BF XR6T and sounds something similar. I've been reading around to see what it could be as I got the phonecall last night about it so I went around to investigate. History, new battery last week as they were stuck thinking it migh have been the battery, last night it wouldn't start. You turn the key and it the dash lights turn on and off then die with the (!) light on and fading away?? and the modular starts bipping like a fast indicator noise at high speed and then the car is dead no dash lights no power what so ever. Very confused.....any help guys I thought it may have been alternator.
