  9. ***UPDATE*** Rang Mal Wood and as posted above very helpful bunch and bought myself a new master cylinder and a bastard to install but worth it in the end. 8 days later I had a teary master cylinder which I've replaced again (only to this would happen). Thanks for all your input guys.

  14. ^^^cheers for that. Still doing my head about the little spill of oil. This is a picture of the plastic eye that connects to the clutch pedal:- So after reading above will have to change master cylinder when I replace the eye?
