  1. Pretty sure it's factory. I'm taking my car back to the dealer to get them removed. They also need to fix up a paint chip on the tub and the hard lid won't lock... Going great! haha
  2. Seriously guys.. nothing? I know that there is at least ONE person here with a lowered car and/or aftermarket wheels...
  3. So I just got my new FG XR6T ute. It has the 19" 50th anniversary wheels on it which aren't too bad. But really looking for some 20" 'dark argents'... More to the point, the ride height, needs to drop. What are my options for lowering? How much will I be looking at? Will it void my factory warranty? Cause any issues? If you guys could point me in the right direction and even put up pictures of their own rides lowered and with 20's (particularly FG utes) and what setup they have etc that would be awesome. THANKS!
  4. Got mine yesterday. So much fun. Stripes are already off. Will remove the mud flaps, take off the side badges (and possibly the Falcon badge) and really looking to lower it. Will lowering it void the warranty?
  5. Dealer said mine will be ready to pick up on Thursday. Get my license back on Wednesday.. Pretty keen!!!
  6. Well I'm only young (20), one band I grew up on was Blink 182 (yeah I know), I'm talking about their early stuff. I still listen to them today, even with my expanded taste in music. Mostly just heavy music these days, a lot of hardcore punk and metal. Also can't forget classics, big Motley Crue fan. One aussie band I can't get enough of are The Amity Affliction. Seen them quite a few times and their live sets are amazing, so much energy.

Just going for Silhouette. Bitch to keep clean but none of the other colours were my bag. I would've gotten Dash but it wasn't available for my model (50th Anniversary) which is a shame. Black still looks great but.
  9. mummba that looks amazing. I have a couple questions for you and others, I have never had a new car before till now so I've never dealt with warranty. How much did that setup cost you? How does it ride? Bottom out a lot? I've heard of problems with the drive line (diff) by lowering the car, is this an across the board big issue? Does lowering the car (professionally of course) void any warranties? I'd love to do this but I want to keep my new car warranty. Cheers

Hey guys Names Rob, 20y.o, live in the Sutherland Shire. Been a member of AFF for a while now, don't really post there much anymore. Owned a EB XR6 5 Speed, EL XR6 5 speed, BA XR6 5 speed, 180SX (haha), and currently carless till August, I have a brand spanking FG XR6 Turbo Ute on order, so thought it would be appropriate to join the XR6 Turbo forums and get active! Any other Shire guys around here? I'm based in Illawong but the whole area is all good (ready for Shire bashing time) haha. Edit - forgot this was a national forum, Sutherland Shire is in Sydney NSW
  11. The standard 19's. They are similar to the XR8 ones just with darker inserts. They look pretty nice. I might change to black FPV rims down the track.
  12. New member. Also ordered my 50th anniversary XR6 Turbo ute today. 6 speed manual in silhouette. Only 260 of these made, apparently this will be one of the first manuals produced. Very very keen. Asked the dealer to take off the side decals but The deal is great, the factory added extras are really nice. Expected end of August. My first Falcon since my BA XR6 5speed, (owned a 180sx in between ), can't wait!
