  1. Why do people buy performance vehicle then skimp on tyres... If you cant afford something as simple as tyres, you should have bought a corrolla...
  2. 120mph is more than 317kw...
  3. That's the same error I got when trying to log on a mates car. I just used my xcal2 on his car with no dramas...
  4. With a lot of luck! The Xcal 3 is known to have issues with logging. I dont think you will be able to log with just the box unless it has been setup for it. You can do this via the software that is on the Herrod site, however it has limitations, logging via laptop is best as it allows you to capture a large amount of data (up to 25 PID's IIRC). As stated you will have to do the conversion from fahrenheit, but once you get the data you can make pretty graphs....
  5. Any of the tune shops that are site sponsors can help you out! Rapid will be the cheapest thought...
  6. You need to get that thing dyno'd mate!
  7. I ran 12.9@113 with a 2.2 60ft. Plenty of room for improvement with a highest mph at 115...
  8. I'm in, so is Wise, I hear that Pete isnt coming any more?
  9. Yes they do. The front one, either pry off or use fishing line...
  10. 4" dump is about 400, cat can be had for $200 or less... Then fitting is probably an hour or so by an exhaust shop.
  11. The ones on a mates F6 arent...
  12. If you speak to wholesale suspension in penrith, they do a custom Koni shock with more dampning to reduce axle tramp... I'd be looking at Koni Reds, king springs, poly bushes and sway bars...
  13. You can splice in behind the passenger kick panel, cant remember the wire colours though... There is a nice little spot to put the convertor in there too.
  14. Give Race Brakes Sydney a call, he will sort you out!
  15. Also sound deadening is a must in the doors and along the back wall of the cab
  16. Main ICC will work, you just run RCA splitters to your amp... You can get bluetooth modules though that will plug into the aux input ala: http://www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-Remote-Stereo-Bluetooth-Gateway/dp/B00170KUM0 For me, I have everything on my iPod, so dont need the USB nor burnt CD's.
  17. Whats reasoning behind aftermarket unit, they are out of place. If you are worried, use a signal processor like the RF 360 or JL Audio Cleansweep. Then a set of 6.5" splits with a 12" sub. Running of a 4channel amp (two channels bridged for the sub).
  18. Yup that's fine. The extra insulation is good...
  19. Still yet to see a direct comparison, it's all hearsay until it happens.... Not saying it's not true, it's just not a fact. At the end of a day it's a tuning tool, and a much better one than a roller dyno at that.
  20. More details about the car... Anything over 400 if it hasnt been done properly will be a continuous headache, and unless you're a very well paid 18YO you wont be able to afford the up-keep and the costs associated in the event something goes wrong. Have you had insurance quotes?
  21. For home, repco or kincrome will do the job. Generally for basic stuff you wont need anything bigger than 3/8's...
  22. Do a search, plenty of information on the forum about battery relocation.
  23. That is very expensive for the 912's - which are crap. Have a look at the Nitto Invo's... Also, give the forum advertisers a call and see what they can do for you. Taleb Tyres is good to deal with!
  24. As for tyres, got the Nitto NT05's. Got them in mine, they will nearly hold all of first, but fine in the other gears...
  25. Where are you located? Its $1790 for the MW kit. But have a chat to NPC as well...
