  1. While on the topic of Diffs, does an LSD rebuild come with a new pinion and out gear? I assume that's what's f*cked in mine causing it to whine and backlash...
  2. The egas will be runnings too much compression to be reliable as a turbo motor, for what you want to do anyway....

  8. My lockout doesnt work great - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt - and find it very easy to hit reverse in stead of 5th.

  10. The offset is the main problem when fitting bigger brakes. The 18's are the only factory FORD wheel that will clear brembos - I believe all FPV wheels will clear however.
  11. 9K wont get you far if you want 550kw. Better off building a whole package as wa g6et has done. You will need: Clutch - 2k Tune - 1k Xcal - 750 Cooler + piping 2k Turbo port and actuator 500 injectors 400 6 piston brembos 2k Suspension 1.5k There goes your 9k pretty quick, and that's only 320kw, but it would be a mean streeter and quick on the track...
  12. Why not go with an F6 Turbo? There are a few people making 400+ with these....
  13. Ive got a cheap sensor kit in mine, I run two sensors, but you could run four, just have to work out mounting. Taks a lot of the worry out of it once you get used to them. I would prefer a reverse camera though as things like wire fences and the like aren't picked up well by sensors.
  14. Looking at the dyno chart it is running 16psi tapering down to 14. If its spiking to 22psi since you have had the tune done either your boost gauge is rubbish or something is amiss, I would be taking it back to the mechanic.

  16. Watch your tailshaft. See a couple now twist theirs at the strip, even with street tyres and ~320 kw...

  18. If you want to go in a straight line they are fine. They will also eat your trailshaft and diff bushes... Look for a road 'semi-slick' like the NT05's, they will hold your ~290rwkw easily...

  22. They reckon dont use gear oil as it damages the blocking ring... However there is a Nulon product that is designed for the Tremec boxes that is gear oil.
  23. Henz, that is the dealer warrarnty that doesnt cover things like that. Statutory warranty is valid for 30 days after the purchase to fix ANY issues that come up on the vehicle. When I bought from a dealer I had the Discs machined and Steering rack creek fixed under the stat. warranty. Buy private I say. Less hassle....
  24. No, they are volts. There are two pids that say BAP and MAP.
