  2. Does it use the standard actuator? As these are too weak, they cant stay shut when on boost... For 17psi you should have at least a 15psi actuator in there. EDIT: Using external wastegate wont have an actuator duh... Check the joiner that goes onto the throttle body, these are known for leaking...

The problem you will face is that due to the big tyres on the trailer, there will be a lot of downward pressure on the tow bar, so it will be dragging its arse the whole way, but its only 300km, you might do some damage to your rear tyres though... You can see the effect on the patrol in the picture.

  5. What callipers do you have? The ultimates arent recommended for slotted rotors. If you have the PBR BF callipers then the DS Performance pads are good and well priced. The key to eliminating the noise is cleaning up all surfaces for corrosion as well as copper grease on the back of the pads. For the 4 piston Brembos, the Remsa pad's will need your needs very well.

  11. Yea, it may pay to ditch the ford ones. I believe they are they are 'blind' ones where the head snaps off when they are at the right tension. Also, there is a fault with the rubber joiner on the FG's that it splits where the pipe goes into the throttle body. Check there are no cracks...
  12. Boost leak, either hook up a boost gauge, or go through ALL of the connections on by one, including all of the vacum lines...

  14. They go well in the wet. Did a putty run in the bucketing rain without any issues. Probably wouldnt put them on the front. I only run them on the rear.
  15. Where are you located? Best bet is to go through the tuner that is doing the work, unless you are buying second hand. Check out the for sale forum, you may find a bargain. With a manual & 300kw, you will struggle into the high 12's. Best I could manage with 320kwish (115mph was highest trap speed), was 12.9 @ 113, even with semi's and no wheel spin. The 60 foot is the hardest in a manual. I could only manage 2.19....

  22. Pretty sure its on topic. Merely showing you dont have to spend $1200 for the same thing. The LED's are for infrared at night, they aren't light emitting.

  24. Yes and yes. Read any of the threads in the 300+ club and you will see its worth while. Also, you should be able to make 300 with just Cat, injectors and tune... So would be a cheap exercise for you.
  25. Or just do territory brakes off a BF... Those 6 piston ones are 2100 from race brakes sydney...
