  1. Don't worry about a plenum atm. I would've thought you'd be making more than 309 atm to be honest. What boost is it running ? Next I would have thought air box, so your piping is shorter, then perhaps a surge tank. E85 depends what state you live in. In VIC it's a pain in the ass to get unless your buying it in drums and then pretty costly. Also valve springs may need replacing in the future but not atm I wouldn't have thought. Mine were starting to show signs of float with 18psi and over 370rwkw so I think you'll be right but each car is different. Also look into a turbo port and stronger actuator.
  2. Haha, all you boys love your lowness. Getting SL fronts and SSL rears. Should lower it 10mm at front and 15 rear. That will be plenty for me. Still want to be able to have good traction when I put the boot into it. Yeh mate 18's. They seem to look a little bigger in real life though. Didn't want 19's due to where I live.
  3. Took some photos with the new wheels. I love it so don't really care if anyone hates it, haha. But just thought I'd chuck some up for you to have a look at. Keep in mind, this is stock suspension, but koni shocks and new springs are going in first thing tomorrow morning, will post a comparison once it's been lowered.
  4. May be a good idea to leave it where your at. The box will be struggling to hold up under the power and the torque your making. Or you can get the box strengthened and go for 500rwkw
  5. Like the 2nd pic, not so much the first. Car looks stupidly low and would be a bitch to drive with those rockstars but each to their own. But imo would look good with the rockstars but sitting a fair way higher.
  6. Patience, they will come. But sadly the shocks and springs did not get here before the weekend as I'd hoped :(. So guess I'll be putting them on next monday or tuesday.
  7. Just got the wheels put on . Ended up going with 18's. Even stock height I love the combo of black on white, and surprisingly the wheels match the car well. Very happy with the way it looks even at stock height. But sorry, no pics yet. Got some suspension gear on order and should be down here and in the car tomorrow or monday, so will post some pics here and in my 300 thread when it's all done .
  8. Yeh was leaning towards matte black. Reckon I'll set them up with T1R's and see how they go.

  11. Yeh that's what im tossing up between. They do the staggered for the 18's to but I don't want to have to lower the car that much so it scrapes on everything just to make it look good. Mind you, I probably only want it to sit 1.5cm lower at the back even stock.
  12. Thinking these in 19 x 8.5 front and 19 x 9.5 rear would be a good way to go ??
  13. so you saying if I go 19's then the car won't need to be lowered as much to get the nice tight look ? This is all getting too confusing :banghead: just got a quote for tenzo r's and dark argents. Both in 19's around $1800 fitted with tyres. Now I'm not sure if I should go 18's or 19's !! Gah !!!

  15. What are they called ? Do they come in different colours or just that one with the chrome lip? Also what spring should I get to make it drop a bit more for looks, but no scrape on everything?

  18. Yeh figured that. Righto, starting to like the idea of the rota grids. Does anyone know what a member here or used to be here (rad) had on his car ? Saw a pic of that and love it. Can't justify the annoyingness of getting 19's and having to swap them for a bit of fun or track work. Not to mention the massive price hike between 18's and 19's.

  21. Yeh they caught my eye straight away. Any you care to share with dish I could have a look at then ^^ ? Btw - what would be the difference in performance between 18's and 19's ? And rough price difference ? anyone care to have a crack at photoshopping those onto the above pictured car?
  22. Thought about that and coating them a charcoal grey to macth the bfmk2 inserts, any idea where to get some ?? Something like this perhaps. Similar to a dark argent but in a 18 ??
  23. Think it might be time for a change. Have contemplated just spraying the stock wheels black or gunmetal but think I'd like to go upto a 18" wheel and get some spring/shock or coilovers. So anyway, what do you guys would look good ?? BTW, reason for not going more than 18" is because I'd still like to take it to the track or strip without having to change the wheels as well. Cheers

  25. I chose a BFMK2 (stronger bottom end) in the end. Could have gone a FG but personally preferred the stylings of the BF. BF will make more power in the top end due to the bigger turbo, but the FG will have less lag down low (not that theres heaps in the BF anyway). All comes down to personal preference.
