Haha, not a fan of the white on white. Maybe on a evo or wrx but not a big barge falcon. Sorry henz My Car with 18 x 8 Tenzos atm: Rota Grids (matte black): And if I got 8.5" for front (245/35) and 9.5" rear (275/30) what offset would I need to ensure I didnt need to roll the guards. Or will I need to do that anyway ?

So after buying tenzo r concept 9's a couple months ago. I clearly wasnt thinking at the time and didnt even ask if they'd clear brembos. After finding out they don't, I'm changing again to something that will clear some new 6 pots. Tossing up between 3 different setups. 1) Stay with the same Tenzos in 19 x 8.5 F and 19 x 9.5 R 2) Rota Grid or Grid Drifts in 19's in Gunmetal Grey or Matte Black. 3) If anyone else has an opinion feel free to upload a pic . All of these will end up with NT05's on them, and the cars a BFMK2 White XR6T that has been lowered. Cheers
-
Anyone ?? Also, does anyone know if the Harrop Monobloc front brake kit may fit if the brembos don't ?
-
As topic says, do you think the 4 pot brembos off a F6 will clear under Tenzo Concept 9's ? Pretty sure offset is either +32 or +35

Baha, yeh you're not wrong ^^. I know your speaking english but I'm struggling to string a sentence together. Have spoken to a mate who's done his, so thankfully I'll have someone helping me and showing me who does actually know what they're doing. Cheers

I had the same problem , again after hitting the limiter twice. Car came to a halt and spluttered like it was missing a cylinder and then I turned it off let it rest for a minute, turned it on, no worries at all. That was with 300rwkw. Surprisingly, since having it tuned to 367rwkw, I've hit the limiter a couple of times but never had any dramas with the stock springs. Would most likely need changing if I wanted more though.

Any help out there ?? Please... haha

Hey guys, This is the first time I'll have tried to install audio gear so just wanting to get some guide on how to go about installing my new speakers and amp in my BFMKII. I've bought 6.5" MBQuartz splits for the front and JLC2 5 x 7's for the rear along with a alpine mxv60 5 channel amp (I was told all this would fit and work very well??). I've also bought wiring and the guy said I needed another connector called 'stereo interconnect' as well which I got. Is that also known as a RCA ?? So got all that gear and now I'm just wondering how to wire everything up and where this 'stereo interconnect' thing goes ? Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers

Good stuff mate, should feel a truck load stronger now. Enjoy it . Now you'll want more in 2 weeks. Haha
-
that's ridiculous mate, good job. What stall is it running ?
-
Cheers mate, will go have a looksy on the weekend and spend some money by the sounds of things.
-
Thanks for the options, appreciate it. I'm not a huge sound/music guy but do like to have a nice clean crisp sound when I feel like turning it up. Again don't want to spend over $800 - $1000 on making it better. If you had that limit, what would you go for ? I'd also like to integrate it in with the stock hu. I realise only spending this much certainly won't get me the best of the best but surely will be alot better than just the stock gear. Cheers once again.

Similar to what I was going to do ^^. I don't get this whole signal processor stuff though :s. The rest I understand though, haha
-
Righto then so 5 in total, sweet, cheers rb

7 ? how many does it need to run the sub ? I'll just ask the guys at JB I reckon they should know.
-
Thanks mate, so will a 5 channel be ok though ?? Guessing one to each speaker then one to the sub ? Or am I getting that wrong ? Thanks for that, will have a good look when I go down. Also what subs are a direct replacement over the stock one ?
-
Anyone give me a specific amp/s and sub/s to look at ? Heading down this arvo. Obviously need a 5 channel one ?
-
So for now I'm just going to go new amp and sub, leaving factory speakers. Something middle of the road....... what would you suggest for amp brand ?? Also I'm guessing the speakers will sound much better once connected to the amp ?? (as you can tell I'm a noob at this stuff)
-
Alright looks like I'll go down the sub route. Shall go get one today and suss it out.
-
No worries man, just want something much better than standard without spending sh*t loads, I'll have a look what alpine offer and go from there I think . May do the sub later.
-
Hey ppl, Currently have a BFMKII and has the premo sound package. But also wanting to upgrade (without spending sh*tloads). So wondering what size the current speakers are both in front and back and also after recommendations of what to use for fronts and backs ? Pretty sure there's a common name that goes around when replacing the sub in the parcel shelf but feel free to post up any recommendations . Cheers in advance

Cheers, was thinking about 10 - 15mm spacers on the bag to see how it looked but think I'll just stick with how it is.
-
Cheers boys, yeh liking the way it sits now. Even all round. Now I just need some killer brakes and I'll be set up for the track, gonna try with the stockies (upgraded rotors and pads though).
-
Ok, here's the girl after the koni shocks and springs went in it. They are SL's on the front and SSL's on rear. Like the way it sits now and I can still clear everything I've had to so far so liking that to. Still got some sway bars on order and should be in and ready to do some track work at the end of the month .
-
Haha, yeh but you didn't see the hwy patrol car about 100 metres away though . Maybe another time, heheh. They're tenzo r concept 9's in matte black. Really liking the look since the shocks and springs went in. I'll give them a week or two to settle then chuck some pics up. And I can still get over speed humps !!
