Yes the 'underside of the bonnet' is what I was referring to.

I'm having an argument with my insurance company re my BA MKII After having someone pull out of an intersection and not looking I'm now arguing with the insurace company and panel beater about the paint colour under the bonnet. I'm sure it was the same colour as the rest of the car but these guys are arguing it was sprayed black, which is what they have done. Can anyone confirm for me what it should be? Ford have been no help. Thanks
