Take Two... My car has been back to Ford twice and in the end they said they cannot help me. Took it to a local mechanic who has all the Ford Scan Tools. So after 2 days they called and said there was a problem in the BCM and it needs to be tested. The problem ended up being a Faulty Key Module in the BCM, they should have it fitted Friday and ready to go early next week. Unfortunatly this is not my biggest problem as since my car has spent more time at mechanics in the last month the wife want's me sell it ("you need a reliable car") Am I just unlucky or do I own a lemon?

Cheers for your help Mick, hope your enjoying your holidays. Still loving the tune, if I stay off the GO pedal my fuel consumtion is amazing not sure if that is a result from the blocked Cat or the tune or a combination of both. Go Pitlane! Dave.

Thought I would post the fix to my issue with my Car Stalling. It only happened when the car was hot and It was the wiring harness that is behind the Fuse Holder under the steering wheel causing the car to shut down. Was fixed by me and I found the problem when my car was left in the sun all day it wouldn't start at all which was a first, pushed on the fuse holder and it started, could get the fault just by touching the bonnet release tab. I'm not 100% sure on which plug was the issue and there was a couple of wires I taped up from the previous owner having a blue tooth installed in the car and looked to be a bit lazy when he removed it. It has now been 4 days and over 35ç wheather with no issues Bit of a shame Ford or an Auto electriacian couldn't fix it but happy day's now, back to enjoying my newly tuned rocket! Dave

Ford have given up and said they cannot fix it and your car is right to pick up. Its going to an auto elec Wednesday so my fingers are crossed. Had nothing to do with the oxygen sensor more a coincident that it stalled when I touched the wires. Hoping its sorted next week as I can't live without two cars and sick of the wife nagging!

I could not get an Auto Electrian this close to Christmas but have booked the car back into Ford tomorrow, Third times a charm as they say. Anyway, I popped the bonnet today and started the car up, Just touched the oxygen sensor wires and the car shut down instantly. The lead was touching the wires that came from the plug at the back of the motor also so im not 100% sure which one has a short but it's a good start. Zip tided the oxygen sensor and wires and went for a 40 minute drive and no shut down, miss fire and when I returned home NO error codes for the first time in 3 weeks. So fingers crossed that Ford can now finally fix it! Dave.

Mick is a majician and I Wish it was that easy Brods but I live over 400km away. Auto Electrician Monday so I will wait and see what the verdict is. Dave.

Just stripped down my cross over and pipping and I have a split rubber joiner which connects the xover and the turbo, would this be enough to make the car stall?
-
Pitlane, Don't think it's tune related as I had done over 800km since it was tuned before it started playing up Bosch 986 42lb, flow matched and it idles perfect, however it does dip a little with the airconditioner on when stopping at lights to around 500rpm then bumps back up.

It's Clean, but haven't been game to pull it apart since the intercooler and pipping was fitted No gauges, but can the XCAL help log anything useful. Never try to data log but worth giving it a try maybe?

Yeah mate, once I finished work I headed down the freeway for about 20 minutes and all seemed fine but once I got back in town it stalled again so the battery made no difference.

Replaced the battery today with the same size you suggested, mine was only 2 years old but thought it rules one thing out. Cheers Dave.

Hello All, Im after some suggestions to an issue my car has been having for the past couple of weeks. It has now been to Ford twice (6 hours Labour) and they have said it was the ignition coil relay but each time after around 50km the car stalls countless times while driving with different codes coming up. The car drives perfect until it shut down, no miss fire, it's as if the key gets turned off. Will do it at any speed and it usually does it while cruising at a constant speed or if you are coming up to a corner and the rev's drop and then it stalls. The car is a BA 2003 Auto, tuned 268rwkw with around 90k on the clock. The latest codes that have come up are; P2105 P0325 P0235 This was after a reflash on the side of the road and only a 5 minute drive home, but I have had other random codes. Could a faulty TPS or a faulty knock sensor cause random codes. I have checked all the earths, replaced the battery so that's all good and the car will be going to a Auto Elec next week, just after some opinions on what it could be. Ford said they had there master tech on the car but who knows? Thanks for any input guy's Dave.

Same thing happened to my car and it was the xcal 3 needed a firm wear update then the car started.

Removed mine over twelve months ago with no ill effect. The exhaust specialist told me it would be fine without it. It's sound like sh1t when they rattle.
